Living Hope Fellowship Church...Sermons From the Pastor

A MORE EXCELLENT WAY
by Pastor Kevin Badgley

John 4:10, Jesus answered and said unto her, "If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water." The woman didn't know anything about the gift of God. It was sitting on the well talking to her. God can be that close and a lot of people won't even know it.

2 Corinthians 9:15, "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." We know about the gift of salvation and things that accompany the seeking of the Lord. Such as the anointing, the Holy Ghost baptism, and the gifts of the Spirit. We see the first part demonstrated by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus, as he preached on the edge of a well to a woman who became the first evangelist in the Bible, from his preaching.

According to 2 Corinthians 9:15 there is a gift from God that nobody is talking about. "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." Now, the speakable gift was being mentioned in John 4. In fact it is mentioned all through the Bible in the Old and the New Testaments. The unspeakable gift is all through it too. Paul gives God praise in Corinthians for his unspeakable gift. The half has not been told about our Lord. As the Lord gives, there is new light on the scriptures that most men don't know anything about. I'm not talking about adding to or taking away from the Word. I'm not talking about something that won't line up with the Word. God can show us things we don't know about his Word.

I want to speak to you about the unspeakable gift of God. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." That is a speakable gift. Whosoever will may come. As you begin to dig in to God, there are things we know very little or nothing about. The Holy Ghost through Paul said, "Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift."

1 Peter 1:8 says, ". . . with joy unspeakable and full of glory." We know that the gift is some joy unspeakable. Why are you going to have joy for something you don't know anything about? Did you ever see somebody get all excited, and then people come in, and they get all excited with them? Then somebody asks, What are we excited about? I think most of the church world is that way right now. They are all excited and bouncing around on their tip toes. They don't know what everybody is excited about. What is the big deal? When I got saved, I got happy about it. When I got filled with the Holy Ghost, I got hysterical about it. There is something in here that the church needs to get into. There is a joy so joyful that it is unspeakable. I believe it will leave you speechless, maybe for days.

Have you ever laughed in the Spirit of God? In the natural, have you ever got tickled and couldn't quit? My mama beat my backside one time because I got tickled in church. I thought that was cruel and unusual punishment! Here I am a joyful and pleasant child about six or eight years old and I was having a happy-go-lucky time. I have no idea to this day what I was laughing at and neither does my mama, but when I got home . . . I got reverenced. That is why they call me Reverend today.

There is a joy that will make you where you can't speak. I love the testimony of Rev. James Cromwell which goes as follows: When he got the Holy Ghost he couldn't talk normally for three days. He would try to tell them something and couldn't. He was . . . unspeakable . . . he said lots more by the tongues than he could ever do in natural language, but I'm saying he didn't have speech that was understandable to man. He had a time. He had to write notes to his wife about what he wanted. He had to shut down his store because he couldn't operate it.

God knows a lot of things we don't. There are some things we take comfort in knowing about but we haven't experienced yet. They are potentially ours but we have not dug in and got them. There is a joy that is unspeakable and full of glory. It is an anointing that comes and overtakes whosoever will and God gets a hold of them. It is an unspeakable gift. The power of God begins to move in their lives and they begin to do the things that Jesus did. It is an overwhelming move of the Spirit of God. I believe we can walk in it day by day. I believe the last day church must come to this thing, living, and breathing it.

Get out in public and become speechless by the dealing of the Lord in joy, and people will gather around to watch you go crazy right in front of them. They will want to know what is so funny. Then you've got a wide open door to tell them what it is! If it is God moving on you, your answer will be anointed and God will move on souls. We've got to get it.

Jesus said if you knew about the gift of God, you'd be asking for it. The Bible says, "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." Peter lets us know there is a joy unspeakable and full of glory. Have you ever heard anybody laugh without making any sounds? You're doing it now. Have you heard someone get all tickled and they laughed without making any noise? That is a strange thing. I had that happen to me when I got the Holy Ghost, among other things that happened to me that night. I got a taste of the unspeakable gift.

The joy of the Lord will make you strong. The joy of the Lord is your strength. The first thing the devil will come to do is steal your joy. If he steals your joy, he's half way home to all the faith you've got, because your joy edifies your faith. When you've got joy, you can believe God for anything. People look at you and they want to know about your joy. Faith is not always apparent but joy is. Then faith becomes apparent.

Ephesians 2:4-8, "(4) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, (5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) (6) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: (7) That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. (8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"

1 Corinthians 12:9 it mentions a gift of faith. It comes upon you supernaturally. You didn't earn it. Jesus did and he gives it to you as a gift. I've experienced the gift of faith on occasion. Unfortunately, my cistern leaks it out and I've not retained it all the time. I believe we can be prayed up to the place we can have the gift of faith working all the time.

Something came over me when I was working in the field years ago. It has happened since. It was very strong. The gift of faith came upon me like a shadow or a cloud. Suddenly I could believe for anything. Anything was possible. Remember what Jesus told the Daddy whose son was devil possessed? Mark 9:23, Jesus said unto him, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." When the gift of faith is on you, you are already believing, and all things are possible. Can you imagine walking in that? You wouldn't have to worry about anything, not even working for a living. You could just believe to send ravens to feed you.

I asked the Lord years ago, why the old prophets got more done than we do, they did not have as much as we do. He said it was because of faith. Hebrews 11 tells you all about it. Verse 13 says "These all died in faith. . ." Faith disregards what you are thinking. Faith disregards what you consider logical, reasonable, or possible. Faith that God gives does not rest on what you think you can accomplish. I have accomplished a few things in life by the grace of God as I have lived for the Lord. I can tell you with assurance that it has been by faith and nothing else. My ability has not made me able to do any of these things. Faith turns the key and opens the door to heaven. God will pour you out a blessing you cannot contain. You will have joy fulfilled like you have never known in your life.

Ephesians 2:5 says he ". . .hath quickened us together with Christ" and verse 6 says, "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:. . ." It sure doesn't look like heaven around here, but . . . the Bibles says we have been made to sit in heavenly places. Who is the "together"? us and Jesus. Where? in Christ. I have a portion and a place in heaven. Jesus told me he gave me one. Whosoever will may come. Whosoever is saved has a place. The Bible declares that when Satan was cast out they searched heaven and no place was found for him. Jesus said, ". . . I go to prepare a place for you . . . that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14:2-3)

We have preached for several years that that is not necessarily after you go to heaven. It can be now. Paul declared this when he was still in the flesh, blood, and bone. He said the Lord has made us to sit together in heavenly places. The Bible is true and Paul wasn't lying. He was operating by the Holy Ghost. He was sitting in a heavenly place in Christ that we have not yet attained. He was still in the natural man when he wrote Ephesians. He had not yet been martyred for the Lord. He said that he, we, and those who believe along these lines, have been made to sit together in heavenly places with Jesus. This is the place Jesus has prepared for us.

You say, I don't feel like I'm sitting in heaven. . . Look at the rest of it. It says, ". . . in Christ Jesus." 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." There is a pressing on in that area. You are not automatically there! If so, you would be casting out devils, healing the sick, and raising the dead right and let, right and left, right and left!!! It is not happening that way, because we have not yet attained. We have a portion there. We have an inheritance there. It is in Christ, our high priest who is sitting at the right hand of the Father making intercession for you and me. Then he deals with us by the Holy Ghost, saying to come up hither, come on a little higher. Then he gives us encouragement along the way by his Word to give us faith that we can go on in the deeper things of God. As he reveals it to us we are supposed to get stirred and say, Yes, that is for me. I believe it, and go on.

We have an unspeakable gift in heaven. It has already begun to be made. Paul said, ". . . I die daily." Why? Galatians 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." The more of Christ that lives in you, the closer to heaven you can get because you are not the old creature any more.

By dying daily, you're becoming less and less that creature every day. You are taking on the new creature in Christ Jesus. As a child of God you are different, in part, from what you used to be. Why would the devil work on you if there wasn't something to get? The thief does not come to steal out of a house if there is nothing in it. Why would he torment you in your body, soul, mind, or spirit if there wasn't something to get? He wants it all. Why would God give such an awesome sacrifice if he didn't have something he wanted in you? He wants a place in you and he wants to bring you to him. He wants it all. There are two forces that want all of you and me. Which one are we going to?

There is an unspeakable gift waiting on me. How can we know about it if it is unspeakable? It says right here in 2 Corinthians 9:15, "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." I know I have a gift in heaven that is waiting on me. Do I have to die to get it? Jesus told the woman if she knew about the gift of God, she'd ask. She wasn't asking. She was a religious lady. She had had five men, but she was still a religious lady. She knew about worship and Messiah, even with a fifth live-in. You can say "Praise the Lord" and "Hallelujah" and rattle some kind of jargon but that does not mean you are saved. Devils can talk in false tongues. The poison of asps is under their lips. How will we know the difference? Keep pressing on and God will show the difference.

I believe he wants us to get a step closer right now. The Lord said he had a gift for me. I got a gift one time and I like to went bananas. It was a wonderful gift given to me on July 24, 1984, at 11:55 p.m. I ain't never had an experience like that. You can keep it every day if you keep it hot. I'm talking about the Holy Ghost! Some people say, Well, the honeymoon is over. It is up to you whether the honeymoon is over or not. You work at a carnal marriage and you work at a marriage to Christ. Jesus doesn't want us to walk around depressed, melancholy, jealous, nagging and ragging, worrisome, fearful, unbelieving, stiff-necked, meddling. We are telling people there is more in God than we can produce! God help us.

God wants us to get on a higher plane than that. Peter, James, and John were walking on a higher plane than that. Peter was a cursing fisherman, but before too long he started getting a hold of God and God was getting a hold of him. Not only do you have to get a hold of it, but it has to get a hold of you. Getting a hold of God is getting saved, but letting God get a hold of you is getting sanctified! The more sanctified you get, the closer to God you get! Sanctified means set apart. Set apart from what? the things of the world and into the things of the glory of God.

There is a gift waiting on you and the Lord wants to pass it out. There is a deeper thing than we have known is possible. It is already setting there, waiting in heaven. We have a portion of it in Christ. When we receive Christ Jesus into our hearts, he immediately starts drawing us closer to God. That is the way the walk goes. It is up, and it is straight and narrow. Jesus said there would be few that would find it. The ones that do find it don't like the way it walks. It is straight and narrow and has a lot of cliffs along the way. If that is what it takes to get it, then that is what we will have to do.

Jesus has prepared a way. Are we gonna take his way? Look at Ephesians 2 again, Verse 5. "Even when we were dead in sins hath quickened us together with Christ. . . ." That is more than salvation; that change can turn you around. Romans 8:11 says that he quickens us by his Spirit. Jude 1:20 says, "But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost," and the more you do this, the more you are quickened. Luke 9:29 says that as Jesus prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered. You say, Well, he was God. He was a man as well as God. Jesus did not use his godhead to perform miracles or even to be sanctified in this natural walk. Jesus performed every miracle he performed as a man that was Holy Ghost filled and sold out to God. He was different from all other men in that he was God manifested in the flesh. He knew no sin, for no sin was in him so he could be a perfect sacrifice. Jesus not only made the way, he is bringing us up the way, right now.

In John 15:7 Jesus said, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." Let's look at the last part of that. ". . . ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." Have you got some things you'd like to see done? small or big? involving yourself and other people? The first thing that comes to my mind is revival. Revival! My wife will tell you I hardly pray over a meal that I don't ask God and believe God and praise him for revival. I've done it for years.

There is a condition to that revival! He said we must abide in him and his words must abide in us, then we shall ask what we will. The Bible is his Word. If you are in the Bible and it is working in you and your mind is stayed on him, you'll have perfect peace. He will quicken you. Abiding in Christ is when you are in prayer, fasting, and seeking the Lord. If you do not fast and pray, seek the Lord, read his Word and obey it, you cannot go to heaven. If we are not doing it as his witnesses, we are not going to get any closer to God than we are. We are going to get low and down and backslide in due season.

I know what it is like to get down so low that it feels like you are about to slip away because you are staying away from the meat that only God can provide. In your soul and your heart you've got to eat of the Word of God. If you don't, you will starve to death.

One time I was walking up the sidewalk going to the prison camp, going into a certain unit to make a shift change. The lights were still on and some inmates with arms as big as my waist were walking around. Something happened and I could see stick men inside of them. First, I thought I was getting x-ray vision. This happened while I was walking up the sidewalk. The Lord said I was looking at the inner man! Big on the outside and drawn up and shriveled into shreds on the inside. I said, God, don't let me get bound like that! He said, YOU STARTED OUT LIKE THAT! Everybody does. If you feed on the Word of God you can get fat. Isaiah 55:2 says, ". . . and let your soul delight itself in fatness." You know you can't overeat on the Word of God? It's not high in cholesterol. My youngest daughter will pick on me for overeating. I can over read the Bible all I want to and she won't nag at me for over reading!

Jesus said there is a gift that men haven't spoken about yet. We have been made to sit together in heavenly places in Christ. We are representatives of Christ down here as a saved child of God. Did you know that Jesus Christ is our representative in heaven? If he is you intercessor, he has got to be your representative. You and I that are saved are known in heaven. The more I yield over to Jesus Christ down here, the more of him is manifest in my life. The more of my life will be manifest in heaven, not my old life, but my soul, my spirit.

As God takes out the old, he fills it with something new from him. God never delivers a soul but what he puts something in place of it from God. That is why I don't believe a soul can have a devil cast out of them and stay delivered very long without the Holy Ghost. The more of Christ we get down here, the more of our life is seen up there. That is, when you pray down here, it is heard up there.

Did you ever pray and it feels like it bounces off of the ceiling? I know there will be times of struggle and times we are gonna fight against the gates of hell for they are above us, not beneath us. I'm talking about when your life is lined up and it seems like your prayers bounce back. Sometimes it is because we are not on a high enough plain. God is wanting us to go another step higher. There is always another step higher! God will give you strength to take the next step.

Some of the church world believes that Jesus did it all at Calvary and you don't have to do anything. In that we are at agreement concerning salvation, but not concerning sanctification. Some of the church world also believes that Jesus was sanctified so we wouldn't have to be. In this they say that you can sin and still go to heaven. The Bible does not bear this out, nevertheless, the majority of the Protestant world believes this thing.

Luke 14:27-28, "(27) And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. (28) For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?" When we were given by commandment of God to build the addition on this church, we sat down and counted the cost. We didn't have anything to start it with.

I said, Lord, it is a good steward who sits down, counts the cost, and decides whether or not they will have sufficient to finish it. Lord, I don't have it and I don't have to build it. I didn't want to build it. He said, READ IT AGAIN. I said, I did read it again. He said, READ IT AGAIN. And again I said, I did read it again. ". . . and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?" What is the big deal? I don't have the money. He said, IT ISN'T TALKING ABOUT MONEY. I said, It is too.

The Lord asked if I had any faith. I said, Well, I believe I have some faith, you gave me a measure. He said if I didn't have any money, to replace it with faith. I said, Show me scripture for that, Jesus. ". . .the just shall live by faith," Hebrews 10:38. I said, That was a pretty hard shot, Lord. Now, we do it in the natural and that is good stewardship, but you are supposed to count the cost in the Spirit. If you want free from the things that beset you, and the things that hound you, and you want to be healthy, there is a price to pay. You say, Jesus already paid it.

Well, then if he already paid it, why aren't you healed? Why aren't you delivered? Why don't you have the joy of the Lord which is your strength like you should have? How come God is letting you go through the things you are going through? The Lord must be forsaking you. You've done something wrong or something. Jesus paid the price and provided the way. That is right, but you have to decide if you have sufficient to pay the price and go the extra mile and go into Christ Jesus.

A road was made for me to get to Paducah, but if I don't get into my automobile and drive over there, I'm gonna stay right here from now on. God has even provided the vehicle, the Holy Ghost power of God. I can have a vehicle and let it set until it clogs up, rusts down, the tires go flat, and that's the way it is. A bunch of us have got into a similar spiritual condition. Our tires are flat, the oil has all leaked out on the floor and we don't even have enough to start the thing, let alone take a trip in it.

If you can't get any zeal in your heart to press on for God, how are you going to have enough to even make heaven? Some people are planted in the Lord, but some are planted right here and they ain't goin' nowhere! They sing the song, "I Shall Not Be Moved." They mean it a certain way. I go to church here and I don't care if God is standing right in the altar over there, I'm not leaving here and going there. If he wants me he can come and get me. I have told people things from the Lord. Some say, If God is really saying that, he'll tell me. He is telling you now through me. I usually find out they already have two or three witnesses tell them the same thing to confirm it.

Go to Isaiah 55:1. Look how God starts this verse: HO. He is talking to God's people. "Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price." It says for them that have no money to come. You won't ever hear that from -WalMart. Those prices are falling but they'll never get free. It is high time to see if we have sufficient to pay the price ourselves and we can get free by the grace of God.

"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled." I have never seen any one filled that wasn't hungry or thirsty for it. You know why? cause they won't eat. I've seen people so bound by habits that they don't eat much. There is a variety of habits that does that to a person. The habit is almost like their food. The problem is that the habit takes away your hunger. The things of this world will hold you back and take away your hunger for the things of God. We will get satisfied in the things of the world and the pleasures of this life. They will choke out the Word and we become unfruitful. The most dangerous thing about it is that people get satisfied with it. Some get saved and then satisfied where they are at, and they start getting dead. Cindy puts it well, calling them the Frozen Chosen. They cry out, I shall not be moved. They don't say it because they are taking a stand for God, but because they are not going anywhere!

This unspeakable gift is free. The anointing that destroys every yoke costs you nothing. There is no money out of your pocket or physical labor involved. You don't have to be smart or good looking, thank God, to get it. You don't have to have a certain family background or even go to a certain church, but you do have to be saved. God has laid up in Christ treasures in heaven. We need to get less satisfied with the things of the world. Two reasons are: (1) it keeps us from the blessing we are talking about, and (2) in this last hour a lot of those things are gonna be taken away.

The world, day by day, is going what they call global. Have you heard that term a lot in the news lately? Global means of the globe, the entire earth. sovereignty of nations will be a thing of the past soon. The Bible describes it as giving their powers away. The Bible also tells us that they will give that power unto an individual. He will control this country perhaps from another country. If we are walking in the faith that Jesus Christ gives, it will not affect you in your soul. Today, folks, we are going to have to get hungry for the things of God so we can get on a higher plane than we have ever been.

I'm gonna close with this thought. The rich young ruler came by one day and asked Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus said to obey the commandments. He told him he had done that since he was a little kid. Then he asked Jesus what he yet lacked. Jesus looked at him and loved him and told him there was one thing he lacked. He said to sell all that he had and give to the poor and come and take up his cross and follow Jesus. The price was too high.

Friday night at prayer meeting the Lord was really breaking my heart. That happens when he reveals what is in it already: my selfish ambitions, goals, things we look at. We went last minute Christmas shopping a couple of days ago. We were in Wal-mart in Marion. I was walking along with one of my daughters. Suddenly God opened up this corridor in a place and I saw with different eyes than I see now. I looked up and had to look back down real fast. It was crowded with probably hundreds of people rushing around. I was able to see the condition of the souls of men. It was not what you do to bring joy! I was not in control of this thing. It was not of my doing.

I looked up and saw a man walk by me. I knew he was searching for a gift for someone. He stopped and went up to a rack of coats and turned around and looked at me and it was like his face was melted like wax on a candle. It just rolled off of him like that. His eyes just drooped real long. I was trying not to stare and I dropped my head but I could still see him in my peripheral vision. He had a brown coat on and had black hair combed back. He was fairly well dressed and it looked like he had a fairly good job. The man was right over the pits of hell. I saw him melted over the pits of hell. He was so bound. I walked a little further and I saw a child come up and pull on daddy's coat tail, wanting to get a gift. They turned around and I looked and there was a devil.

There are devil possessed children. Jesus asked a man in the Bible when the condition came on him and the father said it came when he was a child. I went a little further and I saw more and more. Finally I ducked into an aisle where no one was so I could stare at inanimate objects so I could get out of this. Then I felt it begin to lift or fade where I could walk in the thing and stand it. It does something to you inside when you see this thing but you can't do anything about it. You don't have to have discernment come upon you to see what is going on.

They can't advertise bread without sex or an automobile without perversion. They nearly rape one another right in front of you and then they bring a car in - by the way, buy a Cougar! The kids are being bought and sold, a boy for a harlot, and a girl for wine. We ain't got what it takes to deal with that. Peter was in the same position at one time. He and the other disciples tried their best to cast the devil out of a boy. They knew he was in there because they discerned it and tried to cast him out. The father said he besought Jesus' disciples to cast the devil out. He wanted them to cast it out. They should have cast it out, but they could not. Jesus grew angry with them and called them a faithless and perverse generation. We are in that generation!

It seems like the more I look at the place we are supposed to be the more discouraged I become. Peter was with the other disciples and they were all in agreement and could pray in one accord. Jesus walked with them day by day but the disciples could not get the boy delivered. Matthew 17:19-21, "(19)Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?" (20) And Jesus said unto them, "Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you. (21) Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." There are some things you will never have the victory over except you fast and pray until you get the victory over it!!!

You won't get it with group therapy. You won't get it when everybody in your church says, That's all right, you're just created special. There is no such thing. God is no respecter of persons. It breaks my heart and makes me sick when I see some baby or young child that is deformed, or has a syndrome, or an infirmity, or insane. Somebody may say, God created them special so he could deal with me. God didn't create that! Sin created that. Deuteronomy 28:18, "Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body. . . ." Choose blessing or cursing. Choose life or death. Read Deuteronomy 28. We have the free choice to choose life but after choosing, we've gotta go up that road it takes to get there.

We need to be stirred out of our complacency. We need to be broken out of our melancholy and our sleep. We need to get out of our own little box and quit looking in the mirror saying, Poor me, poor me. We need to start looking around. Ask God to open your eyes. I thank God that Peter prayed through. It took him three times. Then his shadow healed the sick. My shadow, as far as I know, has never healed the sick. He didn't have time to lay hands on everybody. He just walked by them as fast as he could go and his shadow fell on the people laying in the streets.

It has been prophesied that in the last days they will walk down the hallways of hospitals and whosoever will believe, will be jumping out of the hospital beds by anointed men and women of God, if somebody will pray through and get in that place. I believe God. I believe it, but we've got to get in that place. Somebody has got to go through. I looked around for years and said, God there is one that will do it. I prayed for them to get through. I prayed for this woman, that man, that preacher, that evangelist. I prayed, God gird them up and let them go through. I was kicking and pushing, trying to get them to go through. The Lord spoke one day. HEY, I'M TALKING TO YOU. COME UP HITHER. I said, What? He said it six times in a matter of three days. I remember it. I ran from that thing for years, You ain't talking to me. There are two reasons. One, I just didn't think he was talking to me like that. Another, I didn't like the cost!

If I get too many more visions like the one I had the other day, it is gonna be a cheap price. Wouldn't you love to walk down to somebody's little baby (that looks more like an animal than a human being in a wheelchair) and reach out and say, "Devil, let him go!" That is what I want to see. I found out it is conditional. I found out that I've got to want it so bad that I'll do something about it! I've been campaigning for everybody else. I believe everybody is guilty of it, don't tell me you ain't! Some get down and pray, God, push so and so through. Push this one and that one through. Could be, that God is dealing with you! He wants you to pray and fast! I need to lose 10 pounds, but I can't fast all the time. Maybe we could fast one for another. We are supposed to pray one for another. Let's see the law of Christ fulfilled.

Years ago A. A. Allen was given a baby that had no eyes. The arms were nubs. The feet were drawn up. It had no sex organs. It was actually just kind of a blob, existing, fed through tubes. The mama handed it over to him. That man prayed and fasted all the time. Everybody hated him. He preached on sin. The child was several years old. Another brother talks about the incident sometimes and says, The man of God prayed. He started walking and saying, Oh, God, you've got to perform a miracle. Twenty-six major miracles were needed. His organs were messed up inside. He was just barely alive and like a vegetable. The child was a thing, an it. Then bones started popping and cracking. The feet started coming out and growing. There were toes! Then there were hands and fingers and eyes forming. The eyebrows formed and hair grew out and they watched it take place. As I recall it all happened in about 15 to 20 minutes. Then he set him on the platform and started teaching him how to walk.

A. A. Allen is now dead and his ministry went with him. Jesus died, but he rose again and his ministry is still going through the power of the Holy Ghost. If you've got it, you've got his ministry. What are you going to do with it, child of God? What are you going to do with what God has given you? Could we possibly reach that unspeakable gift?

Lord, I ask you to move on every soul. Lord God, in Jesus' name, there is a part of the ministry that we've not yet beheld. You said thanks be to God for the unspeakable gift. You said it is already in heavenly places, waiting for us to draw on the account. The old prophets are dead, gone. They're dust. We can't rely on what they did. We can't go on past history, even if it is fairly recent. We've got to go on now. It is now faith. Put the burden for souls back in our hearts again. God, make people hungry and thirsty after righteousness and willing to give up whatever it takes to get it. Don't let them be satisfied with their lives like they are, because it is so miserable, poor, wretched, blind, and naked. You admonished the church in Revelation, ". . . thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead." Lord, stir souls, that they be hungry for the things of God and go to that place and praise the Lord for the gift, in Jesus' name. A bunch of us have lost our appetites, filling up on junk food. Get us back on track.

I was asked if this unspeakable gift was a certain thing, if it was nameable. Naming this unspeakable gift would be like trying to tell what God told Daniel to seal up till the end. It could be that it shall be shown more specifically these last days. John saw and heard it. Paul was told not to utter it for it wasn't lawful to do so, yet. However, Jesus revealed to us things hidden from the foundation of the world. We may soon see more of this. No, there is no name; it is not a specific gift. It is the more excellent way Paul said at the end of 1 Corinthians 13: charity and yielded fully to God. I believe it is a position in God. Isaiah 57:15 speaks of eternity where God is, where there are no limitations. Those who believe for this with a humble and contrite spirit, shall bring revival as the scripture has said. It could be unspeakable to us in the natural, but what about the Holy Ghost? Romans 8:26 says . . . the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 1 Corinthians 14:2 says, . . . howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 1 Corinthians 14:13 says speaking in an unknown tongue is interpretable. Consider also 1 Cor. 2:9-13. Ah, we are so carnal! God help us! Amen.
