Living Hope Fellowship Church...Sermons From the Pastor
BEGOTTEN
OF GOD
by Pastor Kevin Badgley
John 4:23-24 says, "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers
shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such
to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him
in spirit and in truth."
God says He is looking for a people. Hebrews 4:13 says, "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." It seems bad that He has to "look" for somebody, when He sees all things. He sees everything, yet He has to search for a heart that is pure before Him. That means a pure heart is pretty scarce.
There are a lot of things I can search for that I can't see. I can't see past that wall, but God can see all through the universe and all the facets of it. Yet He has a time finding somebody that will praise Him in the spirit and in truth; that's awful! The "church world" is bigger now than it has ever been, yet He is still searching. We'd be easier to find if we could be found "in Him."
Psalm 55:3-8 says, "Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me. My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me. Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me. And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest. Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah. I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest."
Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and wouldn't waste any time going! If we sprouted wings, we would fly! The anointing that came upon us when we received the baptism of the Holy Ghost is the anointing that can cause us to fly! It is the same one that can cause the whole true remnant church of God (not the church world) to fly in the day of the rapture.
Isaiah 40:31 says, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." So, it is in the business of a Christian to be flying, providing that he is waiting on the Lord. You may say, Well, I don't see any wings, but by faith we know God is going to do it.
Jesus prayed in Gethsemane. In John, Chapter 17, He was alone in the garden because the three that were the closest to him fell asleep. They were watching and praying all right, with snores in between. They ended up running when times got hard. That is why a lot of us run when times get hard, because we were sleeping when we should have been praying!
The other disciples were further
away so they didn't hear what Jesus prayed. John was sleeping at the time, but
God knows what Jesus was praying in Gethsemane. The power of the Holy Ghost
was in Jesus, and John was later moved by the Holy Ghost to write it down. When
Jesus prays, He won't pray out of the will of God; it will be a perfect prayer
before God and will never get a "NO" answer! The only way to stay
away from a "NO" answer from God is to pray according to God's will.
Many get "NO" from God. Amen? Sometimes we pray amiss. James 4:3 says,
"Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it
upon your lusts." I want this, and I want that. . . . Have you searched
out why you want something? Jesus was praying for his bride, the church, you
and me. In John, Chapter 17, Jesus prayed a perfect prayer before God, and I
believe God gave him a "YES" answer. Jesus is even the "AMEN"
of God. When we want something from God, we go through Christ. Christ is the
"AMEN," the "OK," the "SO BE IT" of God. If you
can get in Christ, whatever you ask for, He said He would give it to you. Whatever!
Does it make any difference in the height, or depth, or width? Is there any
difficulty that would keep that prayer from being answered? Is there any thing
too hard for God or Jesus? No!
Jesus prayed for you and me. He prayed for the apostles and those who would believe on Him through their word. Their word and witness is in the written Word of God. John 17:15 says, "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil." John 17:24 says, "Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world." Jesus said, ". . . I will. . . ." He desires, and it is His will. He prayed, ". . . I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am. . . ." A few verses before that in Verse 15 he said, "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil."
Now, we know that in the rapture they will be taken out, because the Spirit of God will be withdrawn, except on the two witnesses. Because Jesus did not pray out of line with God's will, God answered. Luke 22:42 says, "Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done." Jesus never prayed, worked, lived, spoke, or acted out of the will of God in any fashion. If he had, he would have sinned. The Bible declares he knew no sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). 1 Peter 2:24 says, "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness. . . ."
Jesus prayed a perfect prayer for you and me. If the power of God and the prayer of Christ, the healings, signs, and miracles of God ordained for his people then, are not pertinent to now, then neither is salvation pertinent to now, and we are worshipping God in vain. The signs, wonders, miracles, salvation, and the manifestation and the translation of the saints of God is for today. This is for today for whosoever will.
Revelation 21:6 says, "And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely." The water of life flows freely from the throne of God.
In John 17:15 Jesus did not pray that God would take them out of the world, yet in Verse 24 He said, "Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am. . . ." In other words, we are to be with Jesus where he is, and yet stay in this world. God's Word says the child of God is to walk in the anointing of God one hundred percent of the time. These two scriptures should dispel any doubts you have on that. Where is Jesus? Jesus is now at the right hand of God the Father making intercession for you and me. How can you be there and not out of the world at the same time?
Jesus can do any thing the Spirit can do, yet he is flesh and bone at the same time. When Jesus appeared to the disciples in the upper room, He told them to touch Him and see that it was Him and not a spirit, because a spirit had not flesh and bone as He had. Where is His blood? By His Spirit it is here in the earth today. When we receive Jesus, we take on His blood, His washing, and His cleansing. We are not to rend our garments, but the foreskin of our hearts. We become brand new and take on the mind of Christ. His mercies are new every morning. When we fast, and pray, and seek God, we are to put on Christ. We are supposed to put on the whole armour of God every morning when we get up, whether your morning is in the a.m. or the p.m. (according to your shift). God wants us to be brand new every morning with Jesus.
Jesus is a strange fellow in that he is not limited to the things of the world. I believe with all my heart that the church of the living God should come into a place where she is not limited to the things of the world. If she is limited, how would she be any different from anyone else? We are called the bride of Christ and the children of the living God. He has given us power to become the sons of God.
Jesus can be in the Spirit and in the natural at the same time. According to John, Chapter 17, the church of the living God should be doing the same thing. We are in the world, but we are not of it. It may take you a while to chew on these words. That's all right; sharpen up your teeth, put them back in your head, and let's eat it. Hallelujah!
1 John 5:1 & 4 says, "(1) Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. (4) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." Christians ought to be one hundred percent victorious.
Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith is a substance and an evidence. That tells me that the mature faith of a Christian should have substance and evidence. I believe we can get in the place beside Jesus that we can be with him where he is.
1 John 5:18 says, "We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not."
We just read the prescription for being born of God. He which God hath given to us is without sin. As we walk in God, we are not to sin willfully. John 1:12 says, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" At that point, you will become begotten of God. You can believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be born of God, born again. God wants us to be sanctified out of the world by the truth of God's Word and be begotten of God. God begets sons.
Jesus is called the first begotten. Revelation 1:5 says, "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead. . . ." We must get to the place where we are begotten of God. We will have the same features. My children look a little like me. Their habits and manners are a little like me because they are mine; I begat them. If we are begotten of God, we've begun to take on the image of the Son of God and do the things the first begotten of God did.
Jesus said in John 14:3, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." He prayed that God would not take them out of the world, but keep them from the evil. He also prayed that they would be with Him. That is the place. That is the prayer closet! Matthew 6:6 says, "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."
Oh, if I had the wings of a dove to leave this mess! If you will press in and grow in the things of God, shaking off the things of the world, God will make a place for you. Anytime you want to escape, you just step right on in.
Obadiah knew about Elijah. 1 Kings 18:12 says, "And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the spirit of the LORD shall carry thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the LORD from my youth." He said that if he was to go tell Ahab where he was, he (Elijah) would be gone when he got back. He didn't mean Elijah would walk off, because he was on horseback and Elijah was on foot. He could have easily caught up with him if he ran. Obadiah knew he could not outrun the Spirit of the living God. Elijah would leave, vanish. However, Elijah declared in 1 Kings 18:15: "And Elijah said, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, I will surely show myself unto him to day."
Noah was an upright man in all his generations. He walked with God. Isaac said in Genesis 24:40, ". . . The LORD, before whom I walk. . . ." God knew Moses and spoke to him face to face (see Exodus 33:11). In Numbers 12:8 God said about Moses, "With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?" They didn't have what we've got, but they did more with what they had, than we are doing with what we've got!!!
Anybody that says they could never be an Elijah or a Moses had better get down and pray and seek God again. Moses' shadow never healed the sick like Peter's did. Peter did a greater work than Moses did, because he stood before the King of kings and the Lord of lords in prayer. He saw him face to face, and I believe he talked to him every day.
1 John 5:18 says, "We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not." The devil can't touch a child of God that is in the secret place of the most high. Some say, I get so tired of the devil! Why don't you get more of Jesus then? I'm so miserable. Why don't you get a hold of God! I feel like my life has no purpose. You press into the things of Jesus and you will have a purpose.
There is a place in God where the devil can't get to you. I believe that is why the prophets of God could not be destroyed if it wasn't God's time for them to go. They hunted Elijah down but couldn't find him. Jesus said he was going to a place, and the blind Pharisees could not follow. If you are a child of God you can go with him wherever he is. In John 14:5 Thomas said, ". . . Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?" Jesus answered him in the next verse. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." If you get in Christ, you can come to the Father right now.
If the church of the living God does not get into this place, it cannot go in the rapture. He that abideth in the secret place. Psalm 91:1 says, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." This is the prayer closet that we hear about from old days.
Matthew 6:6 says, "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."
By an act of his own free will, John was in the Spirit. John said in Revelation 1:10, "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet." It was a common thing for him to enter in and talk with Jesus, who showed him all 22 chapters of Revelation, which we can now read. However, we wouldn't have to go just by a description if we went and saw it for ourselves! Many times I've heard people say, Oh, I saw something, but I can't describe it. A picture is worth a thousand words!
Obadiah said that he knew when he got to the king, Elijah wouldn't still be where he saw him, because the Spirit of the Lord would carry him somewhere! What do you think Elijah was doing? He was mounting up with wings like as eagles, according to Isaiah 40:31 which says, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
Elijah could walk and not be weary, and run and not faint. He outran Ahab's horses and chariots!!! How did he do it? Well, he had an exercise program that was second to none! NO. Hebrews 5:14 says, "But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." He knew the difference between the holy and the profane. He knew the difference between the clean and the unclean. It is more than just knowing the difference, it's doing the difference. It is of no avail to know all these things and not do them. Jesus said in 2 Peter 2:21, "For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them."
Search these scriptures for yourself! I believe God is going to send an anointing to move on the people so they will press on into the perfect place of God. You can walk perfect and then you can obey the commandment in Matthew 5:48 which says, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." There is no way I can be holy, except maybe if I was shot with a machine gun . . . I'd be holey then, but the wrong kind. God wants us to be HOLY.
The church world says that you have a portion of perfection that you carry around in you, and you can do what you want to, and the perfection will never leave. NO. God says ye are sanctified by the Word. As we press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (see Philippians 3:14), Jesus will make a place for us. Jesus wants us to be where He is. When we get saved we become a new creature in Christ. All things are become new, and He's not just talking about being born again. He's talking about a person who is literally transformed, transfigured, and translated into the kingdom of God.
Translation is not a figure of speech, nor is it of types, shadows, and similitudes. Translation should be a normal mode of operation for movement across this earth, and from heaven to earth, on a continual basis (by prayer) for every child of the living God. No wonder Satan has demanded that the church world deny the power of the Holy Ghost! However, when they do receive the Spirit, many mess up and say, The Holy Ghost is doing it all, and I don't have to do anything!
Satan knows he cannot follow you into that place that Jesus has prepared! Wouldn't you like to cast the devil down and put him under your feet 100 % of the time?! Sure, you will be buffeted, but it will have no effect on you, because you just had a conversation with the King of Kings. When you see how big God is, then you see how little the devil is.
We lived in Colorado a few years ago and you could see a mountain a long way off. It was a mighty thing. It took all day to get there and get around it. You couldn't explore every nook and cranny in 100 years. The closer you got, the bigger it got. I thought we had some nice hills back home, but they were nothing compared to those.
That is the way it is if you will press into the Spirit of the living God by crucifying this flesh. We want to let God do it, because we won't do it on our own. We'll feed and primp it, and we'll talk about it, but we will not take it off! A lot of people, rather than lose it, will paint it. That is what they bury in the grave (our flesh). God wants us to get out of the carnal and into the spiritual. We are supposed to be spiritual people.
Zechariah 4:6 says, "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." In Philippians 4:13 Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
I believe he was walking and talking 100% of the time with Jesus. What a bold statement to say that I can do all things through Christ! Not a soul I know can say that he can do all things. If we could, anyone we prayed for would be healed, or we would know the reason why.
When you are in Christ, there will be 100% discernment. There won't be anything hid from you concerning the situation that you need to know about. There will not be any power limitations. There won't be any holiness limitations, nor any chinks in the armour. There won't be any devil that can stand against you. The Bible declares that the wicked one cannot touch you in that place. We have a choice; we can flirt with the devil, or we can head for that place. That place is a house of refuge. He is my refuge, my high tower, my shield and buckler, the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Samuel 22:3 and Psalm 18:2).
The Psalmist David said he made the Lord his habitation (Psalm 71:3). In other words, that is where he lived. Jesus told the religious bunch that they didn't even know how to get there. They were sitting at the feet of Jesus, hearing and seeing the most mighty things the world has ever known, yet they did not know the way to God. What a shame! The Bible declares in Proverbs 13:18 that, "Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured."
You don't receive an anointing when you refuse instruction. You receive shame. That is why when preachers pray and nothing happens, they are ashamed and discouraged. Jesus never failed. I told the Lord, I am so sick and tired of this. He said that when I got fed up with my own abilities, ways, and game plan I would be on the way! Try God's way.
God is in the business of translating us into the kingdom of his dear Son. You may sit down and say, Oh, that is so hard. I get so tired seeking the Lord. I've sought him so many minutes! I'm tired at the end of the day, you know. I've worked all day. God never meant that for me. I'll coast in on your coat tail. You won't coast in on anybody's coat tail! I won't drag you on my coat tail. I'll cut the coat tail off to get you off so you won't slow me down!
Jesus said he was going away and was going to prepare a place for us. He is the best carpenter I know. He not only can build walls and structures in the natural, He can do it in the Spirit!
Revelation 4:1-2 says a door was opened in heaven. A voice spoke from that open door and said, ". . . Come up hither . . . ." How are you going to go up? Are you going to climb up a rope, or are you going to go out in the Spirit? The Spirit doesn't weigh anything. We should understand this and walk, talk, and live in it! You may say, I just never thought of that. Well, I just don't know. It sounds too far fetched. However, God has made a way. Jesus told us in John 14:5 that He is the way, the truth, and the life.
I can know the way to my house, but
if I don't get on the road and go according to the directions, I'm not going
to get home. If you were to leave this place and not follow directions and signs,
you might go across the field. Some say, I'll get home, and I'll get there my
way! You may see them next Sunday. Have you been home yet? No, I ain't been
home yet. They may be all tattered and torn and bruised and have cockleburs
all over them. They may have ticks and lice hanging off their ears like a set
of earrings. They went the wrong way! They started out in themselves!
Jump in the vehicle that God has provided, the Holy Ghost power of God, and
follow the directions on the road He has made. Then you can go home to God.
You can get a hold of something from God, and you can live without the power
of the enemy hounding you any more.
Some won't follow the road map in the Bible. I can tell these that lost their way, There's the road; go down it, but some will still say, Well, I ain't gonna go where no preacher tells me to go. I heard another preacher, and he didn't say it that way. Follow him and see where he ends up. By the grace of God, I am going to get to God, and I'm going to translate. By the grace of God, I'm going to do all that Jesus said we have power to do.
Some people have their victory well hid. They come in and say, Oh, Brother Kevin, pray for me, the devil is on my back. You don't have to tell me that; I can see him sitting there. You aren't moving fast enough to knock him off!
Do you like cats? Have you ever put one on your shoulder, leaned over a little, and walked slowly? He can keep his balance and stay on really well. He will have to use his claws a little, but he can hang on and just go all over the house, wherever you go. He won't jump off. That is the way it is with the devil. You put him up there to comfort and talk sweetly to you in your ear. You won't move very fast. You will keep all humped over just so he won't fall off. If he falls off I will be lost. I won't have anybody to tell me the way to go. That is your comfort, your pet sin, your habit, your will being satisfied by an unclean spirit. Have you ever seen this? I have. As they walk around, they make sure the devil doesn't lose his balance.
What if somebody would come up to you and say, Why don't you get free of that thing? Would you say, Well, I guess I need to get free. Let somebody that is anointed of God pray for you. Woooooooooooh! . . . and the cat goes flying! Amen? Suddenly the cat is on the floor and running. You start going, Oh, glory to God, and you run around a little bit. Pretty soon, when it is all over with, you are hunting your cat!!! Leave that thing at the altar and get a hold of God. You don't need that cat to keep you happy and satisfied. You need the Spirit of the living God.
Luke 4:18 says, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised."
I see a lot of cats! You almost knocked my cat off just then, Brother Kevin. Doesn't he have a pretty nice long tail? Do you have it stuck in your ear? He is talking in your left ear and has his tail stuck in your right ear so you can't hear me talking. What if you went home, and your house was burned down, and all your cigarettes were gone? Jesus said in John 14:30, ". . . the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me." Wouldn't you like to be able to say the devil has nothing in you?
A devil talked to me out of a man when I was casting it out. He said, Kevin, and I said, What do you want devil? He said, Satan can't cast out Satan. I got closer and said, Show me my devil. He shut up, and I said, Now, show me my sin. He started hollering then, and I commanded him to come out. He was screaming. The point of me telling you this is this: The devil will try to put something on you, and he's going to try to bluff you, to see if he can stop you.
I know God's Word is the truth. John 8:32 says, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." You cannot live without God. Well, I'll live with them and God too. No, you won't. God wants us to walk, and live, and breathe in him and throw out the cat (devil). Some have broad shoulders and have lots of cats.
Do you remember the woman that came to Jesus who had the spirit of infirmity on her? She had bled for 12 years and was dying. She had spent all of her money on the physicians and didn't get better; she grew worse. She was all stooped over double, and had enough room for a dozen cats on her back.
Jesus did not reach over and say, Oh, poor thing, I know you've had a hard time, and I know you're too tired to listen to my hard sermons, so why don't you just go on home. Lord bless you. She would have gone home bleeding to death. That is why we preach what we preach and how we preach, whether you like it or not, so that God can set you free and straighten you up. He can command the devil to loose you. He commanded Satan to loose the woman, and she was made whole and right before God, because somebody got a little bit tough, and rough, and grabbed that stinking cat by the nap of the neck, and threw him back in the pit! Do you think I can live without him? He's so pretty! He is a special breed you know. He sure is! Devils will give some people great talent, even to preach, but if it isn't of God, I don't want it. I want what God's got.
Read Exodus 33:18-23. Moses besought God to show him His glory. God told him there was a place by him, and he would stand upon a rock. Verse 22-23 says, "And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen." He could hear praises to the Lord, and saw the glory of the Lord, and he could see the things of God when still on this earth; he wasn't dead; he was still alive.
Read Hebrews 12:22-24. We have not come to a mountain that quakes and smokes with fire, but to the Spirit of the living God and His glory. The same glory Moses saw on that mount came by the Spirit of God in the book of Acts, Chapter 2. The same one who caused the mountain to shake, and the same one that spoke the Word and created all things is the same one that lives in you if you are Holy Ghost filled.
We have the vehicle, the road map and directions. Some of you even have a preacher who will kick you in the fanny once in a while and tell you the way it is. However, some of you, after hearing the way, will go out the door and head out across the field. I know what he said, and one of these days I pray God will get me free, but I don't want to get rid of the cat. Cat, dog, snake, it doesn't matter what you liken it to. Call it anything you want to, it is still a devil.
Korah was challenging Moses. Numbers 16:5 says, "And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him." God will cause you to come near unto him if you will turn your face that way.
In John 6:44 it says, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." You are being drawn by the Spirit of the living God. Search the scriptures if these things be so; you will find that they are.
God will draw you, and make you hungry for the things of God. Are you going to come to His table? God can furnish a table in the wilderness. The real question is, will men come and eat there? God prepares the table before me in the presence of mine enemies (see Psalm 23:5). When my enemies see me eating at God's table, they will think I am a fanatic and am going cultish. How many times have you ever cared in a restaurant who saw you eating? Who knows? They might come and join you. There is a place in the Lord; we must be begotten of God to get there.
Let it be understood that this particular sermon is not about heaven as in eternity, but we are preaching about it right now as the place God made for those who still yet live in the earth. There is coming a time where the whole church of God will go to that place for seven years.
There is a place in God, and I want to find it. I don't want to go across the field; I want to go down the road. I want to go every direction that the Lord has given. God's Word is true. Jesus prayed to the Father that we could be like Him. Would you like to be with Jesus, and actually translate there?
It is possible for whosoever will. Does that mean me? Yes. But I have problems. Get rid of them. But I like them. Then never plan to be where God is! You must forsake sin. If you say, I like them, but you don't want to like them, get in the altar and ask God to set you free of your desire, of your lusts, of the things that hold you back. God has a place for you. Wouldn't you like to see Him? Did you know you can get there right now? Can you yield over right now?
The altar is the most important place to come. God wants to meet with you there. Don't turn him away. If you had an appointment with the president, would you shun it? If you had an appointment with a famous person or a loved one that you didn't get to see often, would you just say, Well, I don't have time. I've got to take a nap. Would you make an appointment with Jesus and say, I'm here right now, or does he make you too nervous to talk to him?
Whosoever will may come. Be ready for him to search you out. Be ready for him to show you every thing in your way, every stumblingblock, every trouble, even a person if that be the case. Be ready for him to reveal every sin. Let God strengthen you. Let God reveal to you what he has for you. I believe that Moses, and Elijah, and Enoch, and the prophets, and all the saints of God that have walked in days gone by, walked in that place, and therefore did mighty signs, and wonders, and miracles. Most importantly, our Lord Jesus walked there. God wants His people now to do the same!
In Jesus' name I bind every devil of hell that would bring a false comfort and a counterfeit doctrine or religion that would keep those who read this message from the things of God. Lord, show them that these things are true according to God's Word. Let them know that there is a place by you that we can get in, and walk in, and live in one hundred percent of the time, 24 hours a day. God, help us to get every sin under the blood of the Lamb, and to quit playing games, and to press on in and worship you in the spirit and in truth. Amen.
