OTHER SIDE

I want you to look at a particular place in the Bible. Moses wanted to see God's glory. Exodus 33:18 says, "And he said, I beseech thee, show me thy glory." Moses had been dealing with God about the deliverance of the children of Israel. They were out of Egypt, and God had done many mighty works. The Bible declared in Verse 11, "And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. . . ." However, there was a power of God that Moses did not see, and that was the Father God. I believe the Word was the one who was dealing with Moses in those days, and later He manifested himself as the Lord Jesus Christ.
There was a part of God that Moses had not seen, and he has wanting to have favor with God the Father, so he said in Verse 18, ". . . I beseech thee, show me thy glory." Verse 19-20 says, "And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy. And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live." God, the Father was talking here. Verse 21-22 says, "And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:"
Verse 23 says, "And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen." This was because He said in Verse 20: ". . . Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live." There is a part of God that man is not in position to see yet. I believe that there will be a day in heaven that we will be able to.
There is another facet that I want you to see about what God said to Moses in Verse 19: "And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee. . . ." He said that He would make all His goodness pass before him, and I believe that is the part of God that we see first. Hallelujah! However, there is another side of God. This is the side of God that men do not preach about, the church world does not talk about, and the minds of men do not even begin to comprehend. God has a side of wrath and of judgment. Even though Moses talked with God face to face, he still was not worthy to look upon that side of God. That side of God was the purest and the most holy side of Him that anyone could ever imagine! That is the side of God that mankind doesn't know very much about.
We are composed of body, soul, and spirit, and we are three in one. I can die and my spirit and soul would be elsewhere. The Almighty God is composed of three persons. God, the Father, God, the Son (the Word—Jesus), and God, the Holy Ghost. These three agree in one the Bible says, but God has an unique ability to separate himself, and all three can be in different places, yet they are one in the same. It is difficult to understand the Godhead, but read 1 John 5:7:7, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
God, the Father, has a side that men, as of yet, have not seen the fullness thereof. God, the Holy Ghost, is like a dove. The Holy Ghost is demonstrated as one who entreats and woos the hearts of men. He is a soul searcher, and points souls not to himself, but to Jesus Christ as the answer for salvation, for redemption, and for sanctification. John 16:13 says, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come."
John 14:6 says, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." The Holy Ghost is gentle; He is easily grieved. He is easily vexed, and He is very easily moved away.
Jesus, on the other hand, has words. He speaks and deals with men. He draws and convicts men, and tells them that He is the only way to the Father. Jesus will reason with us, and He will wrestle with our ways, but God the Father is strict and straight. God has a set of rules and laws, and there is no middle ground.
Jesus, having come as a man two thousand years ago, understands the draws and the pulls of the flesh in our human nature. He understands how the Spirit of God can move on that and make changes in our lives. God, the Father, sent Jesus to deal with us and to bring us to Him covered by Jesus' blood, and He accepts us. No one can get a hold of God, the Father, without Jesus Christ, because God, the Father, does not play around!
The Holy Ghost will deal with you, and you can grieve him. Jesus can become angry, and He has judgments as well. God, the Father, may just KILL you. God, the Father, is an awesome force. Jesus fears Him. Jesus says in Luke 12:5, "But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him." I saw once in the Spirit where Jesus was terrified of the awesome force of God, the Father. Who do you think gave Jesus the command to create? Who do think sent Him forth?
Jesus also said in John 14:28, ". . . my Father is greater than I." God, the Father, has a very quick temper. It is either sin or it's holiness, and there isn't any in between. The Holy Ghost will draw us out of sin. He will deal with us even in the midst of it, and tell us that something is wrong. He tells us to cease from doing it. If we are about to contemplate something, he will draw us out, and Jesus will give us the Word to tell us why. However, God, the Father, if we were to stand on that side of God, would kill you in a moment! You would be dead. There wouldn't be any time wasted. You don't think so?
Go back to the place in the Bible where they were bringing the ark of God back to Jerusalem. 1 Chronicles 13:9-10 says, "And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God." Uzza put his hand forth and was going to help it along, and God killed him right where he was! Why? God doesn't tolerate anybody messing with His covenant. God doesn't tolerate anybody messing with His Word or His Spirit in such a fashion that it blasphemes Him. God smote that man that day, and it scared David nearly to death! There is a side of God that man doesn't know anything about!
1 Samuel 2:6 says, "The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up." Preachers today will tell you that God doesn't kill. God does too kill! He has killed His people just as fast as He has killed sinners. In fact, many times He has killed them faster. He will kill a backslid Christian faster than He will a sinner. God has got a side of Him that people don't know about, and if God decides to move nobody can stop Him.
I Samuel 2:7 says, "The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up." Some people aren't ever going to be rich, because they kick against the Word of God. They refuse instruction. Verse 8-10 says, "He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed."
We hear about the love of Jesus and His mercy that endureth forever, and that is true, but God, the Father, isn't that way. God's judgement has already begun in America. The plague of AIDS was not sent from the devil. It was sent from God Almighty. If you sin, you are an open candidate for hell, and the plagues are going to multiply and get stronger. Penicillin runs a hundred miles an hour the other direction from AIDS! There is nothing in the world that can stop it! As a matter of fact, if they even get close to getting it calmed down a little bit there will be some other strange disease to bust forth, and God will curse it still further. This thing came from God; He told me this years ago.
God kills, and God makes alive. God can set you up, or God can put you down. There is no wisdom or counsel against the Lord. You can shake your fist against God all you want, but judgment day is coming. People don't realize how big God is! Men have lost their fear of God.
There is a dark side to God! It's the wrath side. It's a side that will not tolerate sin! It's a side that not only deals with sinners, but deals also with the "so called" saints and Christians who play around, and God is fixing to turn to that side! Many preachers say, Well, God loves you, and will never kill you. That is not what my Bible says! God killed thousands!
Ananias and Sapphira brought a big offering to Paul one day. They had sold a parcel of land, and didn't give it all, but were saying that they did so they would look holy and righteous before the people. It was a seed of unbelief and wickedness, and God killed them right in church!
Imagine me standing here, and somebody brings an offering and says, I know that you have to finish out a church project. I'm going to bring an offering to you today for $10,000.00. It is everything that I have in the world. Meanwhile he has $20,000.00 stashed away somewhere. What if God came in the service and did to them as he did to Ananias and Sapphira? Can you imagine what the relatives thought that day when Ananias keeled over stone dead? God killed him.
Acts 5:3 says, "But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?" Beloved, we can't lie to the Holy Ghost! If He is dealing with you, don't say that He is not dealing with you! If He is telling you something, don't say, Well, I'll only do it in part, and not the other part. God knows all about our thoughts, and it is high time that we start fearing God.
There are millions that are starving to death in foreign countries. Their skin is rotten on their bones. They are dying and going to hell by the thousands! Today it is estimated that approximately fifty thousand children a day die from starvation in the most powerful and rich planet in the solar system. Why is this taking place? How can a God that is so good do such terrible things? Those people have worshiped idols for years. We see them after the fact, but you should have seen them when they were in the height of their worship of Baal, or Buddha, or Mohammed. God isn't going to put up with that mess!
I said, God isn't going to put up with that mess, and they are doing it in America! The church has not preached the dark side of God that men do not want to see! He said in Deuteronomy 32:39, "See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand."
Men think that they can fool around with God. You can't do that and live! Even Moses was not holy enough to see the blessed face of God. He dealt with the Lord Jesus (the Word of God in those days before He was manifested in the flesh), but he did not deal with the Father who demands holiness of anyone who stands before Him! Jesus is the only one who goes before Him. We are able to appear at the throne of God in faith, because of Jesus. He presents our petitions before God. That is why we need to get sanctified out of this world, and the Word of God teaches us how.
Now, go to Isaiah 45:6-7. It says, "That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." God said that He created evil. God made hell.
Saul, the first king of Israel, was head and shoulders higher than anyone in the nation. He was a mighty man of valor. Samuel, the prophet of God, anointed him and the power of God came upon him. 1 Samuel 10:6 says, "And the spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man." It was almost like a born again experience. He was anointed of God, and was moved of God. However, he disobeyed God one time too many. It might not take three times. It might just take one time. On the third time the Bible declares in 1 Samuel 16:14, "But the spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him." The Lord sent an evil spirit to him! God will send the devil against you if you continue to resist Him.
Proverbs 29:1 says, "He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy." Do you know that He can shut you down if He wants to? Some say, Lord, I give all, and then they go out and play around. Then they come up and say, Oh, God, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Then they repeatedly do it again and again. Finally, one day Jesus goes to intercede for them, but God says, "NO." God will cut you off and kill you! You could live a hundred years in this life, but that doesn't mean that you are going to heaven.
Samson played around one time too many in the lap of Delilah. Judges 16:20 says, "And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him." Delilah clipped him close, and he lost it all! They put his eyes out, and Samson was blind. He ground corn for years, for the devil, because he played around.
Samson had been anointed and blessed of God. The Spirit of God moved on him mightily, and he delivered and touched people. He preached and dealt with the people of God, but he sinned one time too many. He wouldn't keep away from the whores. Finally he met one that he loved, and God let that one be his destruction. Later God brought him back, but it was with a cost. Most men are too proud to come back when they have backslid.
Most are too proud to get down and say, I deserve this. I've heard people say so many times, Well, I know I probably have sin. They won't just say, I know that I have sin. They add a little something to it to smooth it over. I probably have forsaken some things of the Lord, but you know that God is good. Yes, He is good, but right now I think that He is good and mad! I think that He is violently angry! There is coming a time that He is going to tell Jesus to step out of the way! There won't be any more intercession.
We know that God can send devils to those who continue to resist His will. We know that God created good and evil, and He set it before the angels in the beginning to see if they would serve Him with their whole heart. Lucifer, and one third of heaven did not do it, and He threw them down. Then He created man to see if he would choose good or evil.
That day when the disciples were in the boat, a mighty storm came against them. The tempest was great, but Jesus was asleep. The disciples came to their senses. Matthew 8:25-26 says, "And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm."
I believe that God sent the storm! God will send a storm knowing that He is running a high risk of making you backslide, because He wants to see if you will hold on to Him! Beloved, the victory that is after that time is the most awesome that you will ever know! There will be such joy and shouting. The disciples marvelled and said in Verse 27: ". . . What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!" Even cancer obeys Him. Even madness obeys Him.
We have heard reports of a preacher who is being persecuted for taking a stand against homosexuality in California! Because he has preached against homosexuality, hundreds of homosexuals encamped around this church, chanting and mocking the things of God, this man, and his congregation. The church has gone from several thousand to just a few who still attend there. They have to wrestle and go through the crowd. One thing that the homosexuals are chanting is, Give us your children. Give us your children!
This is going on in America! It reminded me of Sodom and Gomorrah, and Lot and his righteous house, and the devils that surrounded his house that day! Oh! If that man is living it straight, there is an angel of God standing there, and all God has to say is, That is it; cut them off! Some of those homosexuals God might save, but if they play with Him long enough, He is going to get mad, and they will see a side of God they'll wish that they had never seen! That sword is going to come out of that angel's sheath and he is going to cut them three ways: deep, wide, and continuously until they perish from the earth!
I believe that anybody can get saved if they want to get saved, and if they will stay saved God will bring them to heaven. However, if you resist God and keep putting the devil before God's Spirit, God will kill you! Pharaoh tried it, and God killed his whole army!
In the days of Jehoshaphat God set up ambushments against the enemies of the children of God, and destroyed them! God has a side that men don't know about! God has a dark side of wrath and anger, and when His hands come down in judgment at the end, Jesus won't have a word to say about it.
When Moses was interceding for the children of Israel, God said for him to get out of the way, because He was going to kill every one of them. He said that He would make up out of Moses a seed that would serve God. God doesn't take a head count. There could be a hundred trillion people. It doesn't make any difference to God. If they are wrong He can wipe them out. God told Moses to stand aside, because He was going to destroy all the people and make out of Moses' family a new nation. Moses told the Lord No, and he fell down and started seeking the Lord. Because Moses prayed, God did not do that, yet he plagued and killed several thousand people.
Some started talking against God's prophet, Moses, a man of God. This can happen with any prophet of God, or any true preacher, or a child of God; it doesn't make any difference whether it is a man or a woman. People say, We are in the church, and we are God's people too. Who are you to tell us all about these things?
God got angry at the people again for coming against Moses. Numbers 16:28-33 says, "And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me. But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation."
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. God is still in the business of killing. Sometimes it is slow. Sometimes he just lets them rot to death in the hospital bed. Sometimes it is a quick destruction. It may be by way of an automobile accident, or something else. I saw a man who wouldn't come to the Lord. He had been dealt with and talked to. God turned that man over to the devil that plagued him so hard. I saw the devil pick him up and shake him like a rag doll until all the life was gone! Then he threw him down like a piece of garbage when he was done with him. God can turn you over if He wants to. This knowledge, and the fear of the Lord should be in the back of our minds all the time to keep us from sin!
Proverbs 1:23 says, "Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you." In other words, He's warning you. He's dealing with you, and telling you to turn from your wicked ways! Turn to God. Verse 24-26 says, "Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;"
Don't you think that God won't laugh at you when you are hurting if it is because of your disobedience! He said he would mock when your fear comes. Some will say, Oh, God, I'm eaten up with cancer. Others will say, Oh, God, my mind is crazy, and God will laugh! You continued to kick and rebel against God's Word! You continued to say that there was nothing to it.
You thought that you had the preacher and everybody in the place fooled. They think that you are religious, but God knows! Maybe God is allowing the preacher to be fooled. He has hidden things from me before. I've been able to discern some things right off the bat, yet there are other times that He hasn't told me anything. If you think you have me fooled, you may think you have Him fooled. Don't you think that God will lay an entrapment or a snare for those who are playing around with Him?
Now, look at verse 27-28. "When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:" God said that they can call all they want, but He will not answer! God has a side that I don't want anything to do with. The Bible says in Hebrews 12:29, "For our God is a consuming fire."
Not only do we need to live in the fear of the Lord, but also to bring others into the fear of God. Don't be fearful that God will crack you on the head if you mess up, but know that you can't play with God without Him knowing all about it.
Ezekiel 14 applies to those who will not obey the Word of the Lord. It is for those who are asking around to see what other people's opinions are, rather than obeying what God's Word has already told them. They are looking around for somebody who will agree with them in their sin. That is very dangerous. Ezekiel 14:8-9 says this, "And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel."
God can deceive people. Men can deceive you, and the devil can easily deceive you, but if God deceives you, there is no hope! I see it all the time. People say, Well, the preacher says "thus and so", and I know what the Bible says, but what do you think? One of these days you are going to find somebody who will agree with you a hundred percent, and it may not take very long. People ask about this and that, when they should be praying. God will allow you to choose the way that you see fit, and somebody will find scriptures for it, and will show you where you are justified in doing it. You need to be saying, God, crucify me, and get me out of this mess, where I can walk before you holy and upright.
There will be some who will tell you, After all, God didn't give you that husband. You got that husband when you were in sin, but then you got saved, and you can get another husband, now! God can send a prophet to tell you that! God will send you a preacher who has a PHD, and he will tell you all about it, but what does the Bible say? Ezekiel 14:9 tells us that, "And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet. . . ." God has allowed him to go his way.
There is only so long God will keep correcting and dealing. He will tell you and tell you the way, and deal with you to walk in it. Pretty soon you won't even know the difference. God can hand you over, and give you exactly what you want. He's going to do it in a man called the "beast", the "Anti-Christ", and he is soon coming. He is even in the world now.
Some say, My preacher says that I can sin, and stay saved. I don't have to press into a deeper walk with God, because God has blessed me. All I have to do is hang on to the preacher's coat tail and I will sail right in. My coat tail isn't big enough for you! I couldn't pull one of you in, let alone all of you. I'll do well to get myself in. The Bible says in 1 Peter 4:18, "And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" It is on the side of God you don't want to see!
The Bible says that God deceives people. It says that God sent an evil spirit. It says that God created evil. It says that God got angry! He has destroyed whole cities, and killed babies just as fast as He killed others. God hates sin worse than He loves man. God is not a respecter of persons, so if you are playing with God, you had better get right with Him!
God has got a side that you don't want to see. You won't always be able to call someone and say, Pray for me, I think that I have messed up, and gone over the edge! There are certain things I can't do. I can't turn the hand of God once it starts coming down. Nobody can!
The Bible says in 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12, "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." God will send a strong delusion. He will make you think that you are fine. I have seen it happen to people! I have told them, Look, God is dealing with me. You have to quit your secret sins. There is a certain thing that you are doing. There is a certain place that you are going, and a person that you are lusting after.
People keep going, and going, and going, and finally God says to leave them alone! I know a man whom God cut off years ago. I drove by his house, and God said that he was a dead man! I said, God, he's not dead; he is still living, but when God says someone is a dead man, he's a dead man! When God says that you are dead, be it man or woman, you are dead!
What did He do with Michal when she mocked David for dancing before the Lord? David was getting happy and was praising the Lord. She didn't want to do all of that, because it was embarrassing to her. Her status in the community was being tainted. God smote her, and she was barren all the days of her life, so she tried to work up a counterfeit. She took her sister's children and raised them from childhood to adulthood. However, in the days of the kingdom of Solomon, those four children that Michal raised as a stepmother were hung on the gallows.
When God starts cutting He doesn't finish until He is done. We hear about whole generations, whole families, and whole nations being destroyed by the hand of God! God still kills people like that! Yet, preachers have lulled you to sleep. So-called "men of God" have said that God understands. He understands that a devil is dealing with you. You have sin and hardness, and God says to get it out! When you don't get the sin out, God will cut you off! You say, Preacher, you don't scare me, but I know that if the Spirit of God is dealing with you that these things are true, you need to make an altar and seek the Lord.
Hebrews 10:26 says, "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins," Any sinner, who does not get saved, has absolutely no recourse but to go to hell, but Hebrews 10:26 is talking particularly to Christians. If we willfully go against the Word of God, knowing who has redeemed us and set us free, pushing against the Word of God, then God says that there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins! By "willfully" I'm talking about someone who says, I know it is wrong, but I just have to do it. That wasn't a "mistake", that was wilful sin.
Is God dealing with you about a sanctification move in your life? If He tells you to fast, and continually you don't, pretty soon He will hand you over to gluttony, and you will get as fat as a pig! If He deals with you to stay up one night and seek His face, and you don't do it, pretty soon you will always be sleepy. Then, if you try to pray and read your Bible, you are going to get sleepy. You will have to fight right back through it to get victory! Some of you have kicked against God one time too many, and He is angry.
Look again at Hebrews 10:26 and then at Verse 27. "(26) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, (27) But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." If you are an adversary against God, you will be devoured!
Did God ever kill His own? The Bible says in Deuteronomy 28:63 it says, "And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it."
This is what He said in Hebrews 10:28-29: "He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"
In other words, somebody sinned even though they were saved. I'm not talking about sinning by accident. We can get caught up in things, and God deals with that. When you know to do right, and do it not, it is sin. When you won't cease from doing certain things, and God has already dealt with you over, and over, and over to quit it, pretty soon He gets fed up.
Verse 30 says, "For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God! You see, when you fall, you are not falling on your own, you are falling in the hands of the Living God! In 1985 the Lord spoke to me. I had studied the Bible tremendously, hour upon hour every night. I was fasting and seeking the Lord, and prayed in the Spirit of the Lord, and experienced many things. The Lord told me if I backed up on Him now, after Him blessing and dealing with me in such a way, and after Him giving me a calling and a work to do, that I would be a dead man! That is what He told me! That will make you think whenever you start to backslide!
You may say, Well, that is not serving the Lord if you are serving Him, because you are scared of Him! The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge! It is the beginning of wisdom, another scripture says! You are not wise if you don't fear the Lord, but some people don't know the Lord to fear Him! Yet, after knowing the Lord, and still not fearing Him, the Bible says that you are a fool! Psalm 14:1 says, "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. . . ."
God is fixing to show His arm. The next time the devil starts trying and tempting you, tell him, Devil, you are a liar! I'm not going back on God! I know that Jesus loved me enough to die for me. I also know that God has a dark side that even you saw for a brief moment, and you didn't last long. Even if everybody in the world went to hell, the devil is still going! When God judged him that was it! John 16:11 says, ". . . the prince of this world is judged."
Don't you think that he would like to come back to God? He would love to! There are people who think that, If I act religious enough, and I get enough tears in my eyes, and I go to the right preachers, and I give money into their hands, and I perform all the laws, then I can make heaven my home. God says they will go to hell, because they didn't serve God with the love of their heart. They just wanted to hide behind "religion"! I don't want "religion"! I want a God that blesses and heals.
I want a God that delivers, but I know, and I want you to know, that He has a side that the devil won't even stand around, because he is scared of Him. The Bible says in James 2:19, "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." I want to be on the bright side, the light side of God. I want to be on the blessing side of God, where His hand is stretched out. I want to be where He has told me to go. Are you doing what you are supposed to do at this time and hour?
Read this from I Kings 18:21, "And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word." Do you have an answer? Follow God.
I thank God that He has shown us that there is another side of Him. The Lord won't ambush us without letting us know first that there was a reason for what He did in the Bible. Whosoever will may come, but if we play with God, hell will be our destination. There will be no remedy for that. The fearful and the unbelieving shall not inherit the kingdom of God, but if we will humble ourselves and come before God with a broken and contrite heart, He won't despise us. Jesus said in John 6:37, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
God, set us free today from lying devils that have told us that God is blind, and that He doesn't look on certain things. God, set every captive free. Lord, deal with the Christians who have not been sanctified after God has dealt with them and dealt with them. God, deal with everyone who reads this, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
