Living Hope Fellowship Church...Sermons From the Pastor

JOINT-HEIRS
by Pastor Kevin Badgley

We need to know better about our connection with the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus did more than save us from sin, although that is the greatest work of redemption we could ever know. Jesus, through faith and obedience to his word, gave us power to do the things he did and live the life he lived. Jesus said he gave us life (salvation) and life more abundantly. That's a walk in God in this earth. Jesus came as a man filled with the Spirit of God. He came and lowered himself temporarily, lower than the angels, and became one of us. We have a high priest that can be touched with all the same things that we have had to deal with; he did it without sin.

What you saw Jesus accomplish in the four gospels of the Word of God, except for the atonement for sin (only Jesus can do that), he has encouraged and commanded us to do. We have to understand that when we seek God, we take on his attributes. When you read the Bible, you start to talk like the Bible. When you begin to walk with Christ, you begin to understand to think like Christ. This is the connection we need to get a hold of so we can do the things God has commanded us to do. Let us realize that we are joint-heirs with Jesus.

Hebrews 1:1-3, "(1) God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, (2) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds." God made the worlds by the power that is in the Word. The Bible says there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost. Jesus is the Word. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus Christ did the hands-on work in creation. He created and he knows how to fix. When he redeemed us, he gave us power to walk in the same thing he did.

"(3) Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power; when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high." This is one of the scriptures that tells us Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God the Father. The Bible declares that he has been made heir of all things and he is upholding all things by the word of his power. If you can get into that power, by faith, then the words that you speak will be words of life. Jesus said in John 6:63, ". . . the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." We need to get into that place too.

Let us go further to establish what Jesus has in his hands. Matthew 28:18, "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." This has been given to Jesus by the Father. All power in heaven and in earth is in Jesus Christ. Therefore, when he gives a command, it is obeyed. When he gives an unction, it goes forth. When he makes a decree, it is established. Nothing in heaven or in earth can stop him, because he's the Son of God. I would like to get a hold of some of that, wouldn't you? . . .the things that Jesus possesses. Thank God, a corrupt and defiled individual cannot get a hold of that. Only those who walk in Christ can get a hold of what Jesus has, to the degree he told us we can have it. He has given us an avenue to get there.

Revelation 12:9-11, "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." This is the devil you deal with day and night. Look at the explanation made in verse 10. "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." The devil was cast out before man was ever created. This happened before Adam and Eve were created.

Verse 10 says there is an accuser in heaven, Lucifer. He was cast down. Look at the decree that was made, "Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ. . . ." Therefore heaven was delivered from sin and those who began to walk in the iniquity of their heart. God threw them out.

Adam gave over to Satan the keys to this earth by sinning, rejecting God's law and God's word, and giving his life over to the devil. He was cast out of Eden and out of the presence of the Lord. Somebody had to come and tell us in the earth that there could be a decree like this made again. Before Jesus that decree could not be made.

Remember when John fell down to worship at the angel's feet and he said, ". . . See thou do it not: I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God. . . ." The angel of God straightened him out. The angels knew about the power that is in the Word of God; man did not. Heaven had been set free from a liar and a thief. Though devils present themselves to God, they still have no place. The Bible says, "And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven."

Jesus came to set us free from the curse that came with following Satan. He made a decree. The first thing Jesus decreed when he began to preach was, ". . . Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Obviously the next decree would be the same one as here in Revelation 12:10, ". . . Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ. . . ." That means there is power in the Christ of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ came not only to redeem us from sin, sickness, disease, and bondage of the devil, but he also gave us power over all the power of the enemy. He has made the decree in the Word of God, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

The thing that Jesus is at the helm with, and the power he walked in as a man on this earth, he desires to give to his church. You may say, I know all this. I'm going to show you in the Word of God where there is a closer connection than you ever thought possible. The church world is walking far beneath what God has decreed for his servants.

Mark 1:15, "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." When the kingdom of God is at hand any thing is possible. There is such an anointing, and glory, and power in that kingdom that there's not a devil in hell that can stand. They were already cast out of it eons of time before now. When the kingdom of God is manifest in a service with full force anointing, all the devils in that locality must vacate the premises. This is because a decree was given before man was created that the devil could not mess in God's kingdom any more. If you would press in, get in Christ Jesus, become like your Lord, and quit worrying about the things of the world, then the devil cannot mess in God's kingdom concerning you.

Hebrews 2:10-11, "For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren." We are to be sanctifed, which means set apart. Jesus prayed in John 17:21, "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us. . . ."

The church world foolishly thinks that all denominations and religions are going to get in one accord down here so that we can bring revival. That's an ecumenical spirit, and that is not what Jesus was saying in John 17. He was talking about us getting in one in the Spirit . . . the same Spirit that makes Jesus and God the Father one. When you're in that place you are in the kingdom of God manifestly. The accuser can't enter in there because he was cast out a long time ago. Jesus said, ". . . I go and prepare a place for you."

Hebrews 2:11, ". . . for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren." Jesus will call us brethren, part of his church, part of his body of which he is the head. Jesus said the kingdom of God is at hand, while he was walking as a man. God made the captain of our salvation perfect through sufferings. Hebrews 5:8 says, "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered." 1 Peter 5:10, "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you."

Jesus suffered. He resisted temptation, even unto blood. His body and flesh wanted to go into sin at Gethsemane so bad that his body was literally bleeding, but he was totally yielded in mind and spirit to the Spirit of God. His body had to come into subjection to the Spirit of God. 1 John 4:4 says, ". . . greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." We are going to be joint-heirs with Jesus Christ and receive the portion of God's kingdom he has commanded us to receive.

John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." He wasn't talking about his deity or godhead. He was talking about as a man. Why would God almighty have to overcome the world? He was talking about the nature and seed of Abraham . . . that is of faith. He walked by faith, not by sight. He is our example and forerunner into the veil to get to God. He said, ". . . I have overcome the world." What an awesome statement that a human could make! We keep getting the mentality Oh, He was God, though. He could. No, that is not the way it is. If Jesus had more capacity to obey the Spirit of the Lord than we do, then he has made unreasonable demands on us.

Jesus was given no more and no less strength to obey God than we have. He was subject to the same devils, religious groups, tempters, tormentors, traitors, false brethren, in and out bunch, and revolving door Christians. Jesus said, ". . . I have overcome the world." How many would like to overcome the world? That doesn't mean you get full of the world! By the time you are done, if you are walking in Christ, the world will be plenty full of you, saying, get him out of here. . . like they did Jesus.

I want to show you something about who you are with Christ by faith and what you have waiting on you. There is something waiting on you. My kids will get what I got. When I die, my kids will inherit all that I have accumulated. Jesus died, rose again, and sent his Spirit to show us how to read his will. Do you know somebody whose families are ripped all apart because either there wasn't a will or they twisted it? Wouldn't you like for whoever it was that left to come back for five minutes and read it exactly like they really wanted it? Jesus has sent forth the Spirit of truth that will read his Word . . . his will and testament . . . right back to you the way he wants it.

You are a child of God if you are born again. If you are a child then you are an heir. I would like to look into some of the things I've inherited. Would you? How about now? Some get to read the will before the person dies . . . and that person says, It's yours. When Jesus ascended up to heaven he said, IT'S YOURS.

Romans 8:16-17, "The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together." We are joint-heirs with Christ. That is how we get a hold of God's goods. If so be that we suffer with him (because we are following Jesus) we may also be glorified together. Some of you are suffering for following Christ and are really having a struggle. Yet, you are going on; flesh gets mad; people think you're weird; later you think you really didn't have to do that; there are wrestlings and sufferings. If we suffer according to the will of God, we will also be glorified with him. Paul said in Galatians 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

Romans 8:18, "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." All the troubles you've had in the last few months or years or maybe all your everlovin' life will not hold a candle to what God is about to pour out. If you hold fast you will see the glory of the Lord. You will be glorified in Christ. This is the move of God we are talking about right before the trumpet sounds. I believe it will literally usher God's people out of here.

This is beautiful reading but how do I know? Would you like a little proof of that inheritance? so you could know? have a token? something? I know it is written out and it says so and I've heard it before, but I wish I could just see some little something of it.

Ephesians 1:13-14, "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." Until . . . does that mean until we die? Not necessarily. The purchased possession is you. You have a token which is the power of the Holy Ghost dwelling in you manifesting in the prayer language of tongues and other gifts as God gives. That is a token of the power and kingdom of God. Jesus said, ". . . behold, the kingdom of God is within you." As you yield over to that kingdom rather than this kingdom, over to God instead of the devil, pressing on ". . . toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Don't listen to the flesh. Press in deeper every day and every hour into the kingdom of God. Less and less of this world will affect your mind, soul, and body. I'm not just talking about deliverance and healing. You won't be subject to the laws of this world. One of the laws of this world is gravity!

Ephesians 1:14, "Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." That is the ". . . glory which shall be revealed in us," found in Romans 8:18. Most everyone has given their child a gift. Give it to them and see how they handle it, what they do with it, how they take care of it, and how often they use it. When God gives forth the gifts of the Spirit of God he will check out those to whom he has given it. He will see what they do with it, how often they use it, and in what fashion before he will give anything else.

I think the baptism of the Holy Ghost is one of the most abused things in the church world today. People will not pray. Some think people are filled with the Spirit of God, I guess, for a high whenever they get in the presence of the Lord. They need to be praying without ceasing. The Bible says, "Pray without ceasing." How do we do that? You have to be baptized in the power of God: the Holy Ghost, which is the beginning of the kingdom of God within you and the earnest of our inheritance in heaven. As you walk in the power and glory of God, it will begin to take you over and you'll be less and less like your old self and more and more like Jesus Christ. We have the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption. We need the redemption. By faith we are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, right now. There will come a perfect day, a day of God, that will come forth and there will be a rapture of the bride of Christ. All of his saints will be redeemed out of the earth into glory. You cannot walk on the streets of gold in your current condition. ". . . flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God . . . ."

How did Enoch and Elijah do it then? They didn't even have the blood of Jesus. They had faith in God and were totally yielded over to what they did have. They kept and used what God did give them, continuously. They walked before the Lord. They walked in the Spirit of the Lord. They no longer walked according to their rules, lusts, desires, or what they wanted to do. They were doing what God wanted them to do. Enoch did that for 300 years.

Elijah had a witness named Elisha with him. Elisha wanted a double portion of Elijah's spirit. In 2 Kings 2:9 Elijah said these words to him, ". . . if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so." Jesus had many witnesses see him go. In John 15:7 Jesus said, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

We are about to inherit something. We are about to come into a place that Jesus has prepared. He has prepared an inheritance. We are given an earnest, a token, a ticket, an open door to get into that place he is wanting us to get. John 17:24 says, "Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am. . . ." Right before that in verse 15 Jesus was praying, "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil." Jesus never double talks; we just don't always understand him. Jesus is perfect, therefore every prayer he ever prayed was and is totally answered. Them is you and me. Verse 24 says, ". . . be with me where I am. . . ." Now, how can you be with Christ and still be in this world? It has got to be translation. There is no other explanation. Colossians 1:13 says, "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son."

You ain't gonna do nothin' in the Spirit until the Word of God has already pronounced it. We're not going to see this mighty move of God until first it is taught, preached, and faith is given to the people for it to come to pass. They must know that it is godly, lest they be afraid and think it is the power of the enemy. The word must go forth before the Spirit can create faith in you. Romans 10:17, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

We are looking for something, an earnest, an inheritance. There is a place, but we can't get to that place like we are. So what have we got to do? Romans 8:23, "And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body." Why would you groan within yourself? Don't you like where you are living? No. We are strangers and pilgrims in this earth . . . even this earthen vessel that is in Christ. This thing always fights me. I don't know about you. Maybe you have full control, but I ain't. My flesh is always wanting to do something I don't have any time to do, or do anything but pray. Did you ever notice that? I'm always saying, God, I wanted to pray, but I got so bored. Then, I just had something else to do. We are just led around by our flesh, aren't we?

Before the fall, Adam walked in the Spirit and was led by the Spirit. Romans 8:14 says, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." If we will come into the place of the 'sons of God', we can be like Him. Luke 10:19 says he gives us power. John 1:12, "But as many a received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."

Look at this again. Romans 8:23, "And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body." My body gives me trouble. My flesh nature fights against me. "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." Many of us, if we stood before God in our current condition would die. The scripture says that no man hath seen God and lived, but if a man is dead through Christ and is walking in Christ, he can. Matthew 5:8, "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."

Exodus 24:11, "And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink." They were sanctified and made right according to God's Word. They obeyed and were able to see the God of Israel, who is the Word of God. That is how Jesus was able to say, "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad." Moses, Enoch, and Elijah saw him. You can see him. You are his child. Press in and get like him. We are waiting for the redemption of the body so we can pass from death to life. Jesus said, ". . . If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death." We have a body of death, and we wrestle death.

Paul cried out in Romans 7:24, "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?" Wretched here means unable, failure, right and left doing something wrong, can't control myself. The body of this death here means this fallen state. What did he say after that? (25) "I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." If you are a joint-heir with Jesus Christ you have an open avenue to God. He wants you to walk with him in that place he has prepared. He has prepared that place for every one that is a child of God. ". . . To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it."

God is a personal God. He has come down to visit with us. Why don't we pray through and go visit with him. It doesn't just happen! It has to be according to the Word of God. God's Word cannot lie, it cannot fail, and it will not hide the things that God wants us to know. Romans 8:31, "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" What in the world is stopping you? Jesus said, ". . . neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." He said he opened and shut doors that neither man nor devils could open and shut. God has set before you an open door.

Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." That is the other direction.

Romans 8:32, "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" Then we go back to the beginning. God made Jesus heir of all things. "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds." If we are the children of God then we are joint-heirs with Christ, which means we are joint-heirs of all things God has prepared for them that love him. God has some awesome stuff for you.

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." In the Old Testament it says, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." They shall mount up. That's just a figure of speech, Brother. Jesus said, "And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail." When he said up he meant up. The sun will burn up before the up gets changed. Now, man has tried to change the up but, frankly, man is upchuck. He has lost his up and is going down if he doesn't come on for Jesus.

They shall mount up with wings as eagles. What do eagles do? They fly! They'll be setting here one minute and then they will go over there. John 3:8, "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit." Nicodemus said, ". . . How can these things be?" He was a Ph.D. in religion, but he ran into the Master! Do you know what the wind scatters when it blows about? seeds! the Word of God. Trees start popping up everywhere . . . in some of the craziest places, too . . . right in the middle of sidewalks. Nothing can grow there, but it will break a sidewalk just so it can grow. That seed was scattered by the wind.

This is the explanation for the final hour of the church of the living God. We are heirs of this type of ministry. We have to overcome something. The way you overcome the natural pulls is to reject them, according to the will of God. This is one of the last things God says to his children in the Bible. Revelation 21:7, "He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." Jesus said in Revelation 2:10 that we can have a crown of life. Jesus said in Revelation 2:26, "And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations."

Jesus is the heir, the master, and the creator of all things. We are joint-heirs with him. This is how Jesus could command winds and seas to cease from storming. There was a hurricane Andrew some time ago. It had a terrible destructive force. What if one person was in the will of the Lord and walking in the place that God ordained his people to walk in? They could walk up, point their finger at that storm and rebuke it in the name of Jesus. I don't care how much power it had, even if it had enough power to drive railroad cars through the needle of an eye. That is how awesome and powerful it was. It did billions of dollars' worth of damage. One Holy Ghost filled earthbound person sold out to God, and in the business of translating and talking to God, could stop the storm. If God spoke to him or her and said to stop the storm, he could say, Thus saith the Lord, I command you to cease and to dry up. The thing would have to obey him. Jesus did it as a man and we can too. He is the heir of all things. We are joint-heirs of all things--whatsoever God wants us to have. God wants you to have power over all things. If you agree, shout yes.

"And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed." How do you know that the rapture doesn't consist of a church that is so full of God that all they want to do is take off? Finally, after visiting with God so much, he says, WELL, YOU'VE BEEN VISITING SO OFTEN AND SO MUCH, YOU MIGHT AS WELL MOVE IN! 1 Corinthians 15:53, "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

God did it with Enoch. He had been back and forth for 300 years. He got so much of God, pretty soon there wasn't any thing left of Enoch. God took him. Elijah went up in a chariot of fire. He didn't go in a Lincoln. He didn't go in any way of man. He didn't go in the way of the world. He went up in a chariot of fire, sweetheart. Let me tell you something. That is the way I want to go. I want to go in fire and on fire. I want to see God move. He said he makes ". . . his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire." I want to go in fire!

God has made a place. It is in the Bible. I have preached at least a dozen sermons on translation. Since it is for us, we ought to be getting with it. The Bible says, ". . . in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." I already got you a dozen. What are we waiting on? All you got to do is overcome. Don't do anything you want to do. Do what he tells you to do, so he can say, OH, ARE YOU BACK HERE AGAIN? Jesus can be standing there by Michael the archangel, looking around, and there you are. He calls your name. You can answer, What have you got for me to do today? He says, SON, WHAT ARE YOU DOING UP HERE? Oh, Lord, I couldn't help it. I just started praying and I was just blessing your name, Lord, and I just had to come see you. Wouldn't you like to go see him any time you wanted to? Where in the Bible does it say you can't?

Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." This is not just poetry or stories. It is in the Bible. If you will believe it, faith will come in your heart, and you will start taking off. You will hardly ever wear your shoe soles out. When the children of Israel crossed the Red Sea and walked in the wilderness for forty years, the soles of their shoes never wore out. I think they were walking a little lightly. It is like an updraft. Ever been in an elevator when it makes one of those quick stops? You are hung between heaven and earth!

Jesus said, "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." He is getting us out from the carnal and up to the Spirit. He said if he was lifted up he would draw all men unto him! Where is he right now? He is at the right hand of God our Father. Where is he going to draw you? . . . to the right hand of the Father. We are not talking about a tractor beam, we are talking about a Holy Ghost, heaven sent, fire from God draw from glory. Jesus said, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him. . . ." Glory to God, when the Spirit of my Father draws me I can go to him! Hallelujah.

In the book of Numbers Korah was standing against Moses. Korah said that all the congregation was holy. The earth opened up and swallowed him and his followers, but look at what Moses said in Numbers 16:5, "And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him." Many are called, but few are chosen.

". . . whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him." I'm going. And when I come back, I'm not coming back empty handed. I'm coming back with my hands full. I'm coming back with my eyes, mind, heart, and soul fuulllll! I'm not going to his house without getting something. I'm gonna take something home because ". . . my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Shout yes! You need to praise the Lord.

I'm gonna bring something home! I'm not going just for a little pipe dream or something to tell people to make them think I'm a hotshot. I want to bring something home that they can look at themselves. It is in the Book. It's always been there. Hallelujah. I am blessed. The devil has fought me because I am blessed! A few weeks ago a voice from heaven spoke to me. It was one word, "CHOSEN." I am gonna go to him because I'm being drawn. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go because my God has told me I have rights to it now. Now I've told you that you have rights to it. It is in the Book. Revelation 21:7, "He that overcometh shall inherit all things. . . ."

Jesus said, ". . . for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me." All things he's got are from God. All things he's got are from glory. The devil ain't got nothing in there. Jesus has got it all. There is no place found for Satan. We're gonna take it over. Jesus is remodeling it and we're gonna stand in the same place where Lucifer stood at one time. One of these days, when he comes to torment, I'm gonna stand in his face and I'm gonna say, Now who's got the votes? Now who's walking in the walk? Who's got the shift now? Revelation 20:10 says, "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

The devil told me I can't get in that place. Sweetheart, I'm preaching that I can. I know I can, cause God said I can. My God told me that I could. If I believe him and walk according to God's Word, ". . . he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Jesus said, ". . . my reward is with me. . . ." I gotta go to him to get it, and I'm gonna get it. Shout yes!

Don't tell me I can't translate or lay hands on the sick. Jesus said, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Lately the devil's been telling me, you can't pray the headache off of a dumb tomcat! I said, That's right, but my Jesus can! And I'm gonna get in Jesus! For a long time I sought for a great ministry so I could cast out devils, heal the sick, and raise the dead. That is good but the Lord said, WHY DON'T YOU SEEK FOR THE BIGGER THINGS? I said, What? He said, WHY DON'T YOU SEEK FOR ME?

The Bible says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." When Jesus walks before the throne I'm in there with him, if I am in Christ. It doesn't matter-I can look right at God and not die because I'm in one who has covered me with his blood, and power, and express image. I can walk where Jesus walks, talk like Jesus talks, and do the same things he does. Because ". . . my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Where at? In glory. You ain't gonna get them met down here. You got to get in glory.

Remember, "And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias: Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem." Jesus was transfigured before them. You are in Jerusalem now. Get dead quick. Accomplish your decease and take off and get in glory. We are not taking the glory from God. We can't and don't want to. We can get in glory by being anointed to praise.

Remember what he told Moses? Exodus 33:20-23, "And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen." God's glory started talking. God's finger can talk. Any part of God can talk if he wants to. He took his finger and wrote on the plaster. A man was weighed in the balances and found wanting. All they saw was his hand. God is not limited like man is. He preached a sermon with his finger.

I want to go with Jesus. This down here ain't good enough. This ain't revival for me. Revival, for me, is getting in Jesus. Then I'll see everything like Jesus sees it. If I am in Christ and I'm looking at you, I'm using his eyes. Then I can read you off 100 percent. I know where you're hurting or bound. I know where you've lied, where you walk, and where you were yesterday. "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do."

If you get in Christ, you are not limited like you are now. You are not in your self any more, doing your own will or the will of the world. God says it is conditional. You must first be crucified with Christ and then you can walk in Christ. If you get crucified in Christ, taking up your cross daily, and walk with him, then you can walk in Christ. If you don't, you better be satisfied with what you got. I ain't satisfied with what I got and I know you ain't satisfied with what I got.

The anointing will confirm the word by faith. The less proving that God has to do for you to get him to believe him, the quicker and the greater the blessing is when he sends it. If you can read it in the Word of God and believe it, he will send a greater move when he sends it than if you had to have him prove it to you 150 times by 17 different people and 43 different books. The Word must be confirmed with signs following. It is true that the Word will be established by the mouth of two or three witnesses, but don't ask for hundreds. After a while, God gets a little tired of it. Believe his Word.

The only reason I am a minister now is because I got in the Bible and wouldn't get out of it. I did not ask for a pastorate. I tried to run from it for two years. You can't run from God. I'm telling you that if you will get in your Bible, you can know as much as anybody else, and do as much, and you can have faith. If you don't get in your Bible, how are you going to have hearing? How will you have faith? You can't let dust collect on it and expect to get it through me or somebody else. You have got to read it yourself, because you have got to get in there and realize, hey, Brother Kevin may have said this but I don't remember. You've got to have your own section of faith out of that Word, especially your salvation. I adjure you by Christ, please get in your Bible. Take time for the Lord. Throw a rock through the TV or ask him to shoot it with a lightening bolt. Amen? Plead the blood of Jesus while you're at it. God wants to do a work. You are joint-heirs with Christ. Let's go after the inheritance and get redeemed from this thing and go on for God.

Father, I ask you to touch this people. Lord, I know that your will is in this thing. God it is so urgent this last hour. God, move on this people and give them great faith. We have had testimony where faith did it all. Let there be an anointing for great faith coming up before this great move of God, for if we do not believe we cannot receive. In Jesus' name I bind every devil that would try to lie about or twist what I preached. Lord we did it according to your Word and by your Spirit we wrestled it 24 hours. Thank you for the victory. Amen.
