Good day friends, and welcome to another edition of our program. We praise God and pray that his blessings be upon you today. Lets get right into the Bible. I want you to look at something. I believe God has impressed us mightily upon this message today.
Revelation 22:18-19. AFor I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Now beloved, I'm letting you know that there is a conspiracy in the church. There is a conspiracy against mankind and it was brought straight out of the pits of hell to divert the instructions on how to get to heaven by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. If I were to write a letter of warning to my children it would be on many things. It would be about how to live this life in perfection, in love, and in edifying one another. It would be about helping one another and making heaven your home. If someone came along and diverted or perverted the letter or the writings that I sent to my children, I would be fiercely angry. Wouldn't you?
If you sent a word or warning to your children and somebody come along and watered it down, or perverted it, or changed it to read some other way where they would read the message and be turned away from the truth, and then end up perishing, you'd be fiercely angry at them wouldn't you? So would I and so is God at the church world today.
Do you know why, beloved? It is because they are listening, and reading, and quoting as God's Word that which is not God's Word, these revised, so called versions of the Bible. They are not versions of the Bible. They are perversions of the Bible. They are not Godly. They are not inspired of the Holy Ghost. If God wanted His Word changed He would have done it. He made this declaration in prayer one time. This greatly shook me as I began to realize that when you doctor the truth it turns it into a lie.
It doesn't make the truth easier to understand by changing it into a lie. It is worse yet to make it where it will read like a person wants it to read. This is what they have done, the modern so-called translators, and interpreters of God's Holy Word.
In the beginning the King James Bible was translated out of the original text and manuscripts. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament in the Greek. Fifty men made up a council to translate the King James Bible and they did not get to compare notes until they had completely translated it. They found their notes were identical because they prayerfully asked for the translation into the English tongue from those original tongues of those manuscripts of God's Holy Word. It was Holy Ghost written, and it was Holy Ghost translated.
Today men have interpreted and perverted God's truth into editions or so called versions of God's Word to make it easier to understand. The problem is that in translating their interpretation, they've perverted God's truth and watered it down. I'm reading to you today out of Revelation and it says whenever somebody adds to, or takes away the Words of the Prophecy of God's Word, God will smite them to the wall. He will send the plagues written in God's Word, which are terrible, and their names will be taken out of the Book of Life.
Now look at this. This means that anybody that was saved and then tried to say, Well, I'll make God's Word easier to understand so the rest of the people can understand it. They were perverting God's Word by changing it, and their name then will be taken out of the Book of Life. If a person, who is born again and saved, begins to tamper with God's Word, God says He will take their name out of the Book of Life.
Do you see that? This takes away the promise (that many falsely give), A Once saved, always saved, as well. We'll deal with that issue at another time. When God's Word is tampered with, when man begins to monkey around with, or sort of speak with the truth and the holiness of God's Word, he brings a curse upon himself that can and will not only destroy him, but will destroy those who will read and believe these other translations.
You may say, Well that's really thin. I want you right now to look in Proverbs Chapter 30. It says in verse 5 and 6, Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.Now, if a person is a liar, they will go to hell. You can go to hell for lying because it says in Revelation that all liars have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.
When you begin to doctor or mess around with God's Word in any fashion, whatever the reasoning, you are found a liar. This is because it will not read the same, and it will pervert the truth, turning the truth of God into a lie, as Romans mentions. You are cursed from that day on until you repent. The person reading it must repent and go back to the King James Bible, which is straight from the manuscripts of God's Holy written Word.
In another place in the Bible (Deuteronomy 4:2) God is speaking again to us, Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
Do you see that, beloved? These are very, very dangerous things to be messing around with. I say that you would do well to take your New Revised Standard, or your Living Bible, or your Good News for Modern Man, or anything other than the Kings James Version of the Bible, and line your bird cage with it, because that's all it's worth. However, I would even be afraid of doing that for fear that the bird might read it, and backslide, and go to hell. The best thing to do with those versions is to throw them away or burn them so that no one will read them and be cursed from the day that they read it and begin to believe a lie.
The Bible says in Thessalonians that they believed a lie and were damned, because they had not pleasure in God's righteousness. Now we begin to see things. It's a terrible and a desperate thing. Deuteronomy 12:32 says this, What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
The Word of God is perfect. It is without flaw and error. If it was something too hard to understand, then God would not have written it as such. If you don't understand it the first time, read it again, and again, and again until you get a grasp of the things of God.
These things are spiritually discerned anyway. God is a Spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. God is a Spirit, and his Word must be interpreted by God's Spirit. God's Spirit wrote it, He knows what God was saying when He wrote it, and He can bring it back to your remembrance. Many people read the other versions (perversions we call them) to try to understand God's truth. How can you understand the truth better by reading a lying version? God wants us to know today that He wants His people sanctified and holy and clean from these other so called doctrines of devils that have come forth.
Look through your new version. Look through the Revised Version or any of these other versions, other than the Kings James Version. One of the main things you'll see omitted many, many times, other than whole scriptures (which is blasphemy) is the blood of Jesus Christ. Things are omitted when it concerns sacrifice, and especially when it concerns the blood of Jesus. Colossians 1:14 says, In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
If the blood of Jesus is omitted from the version you are reading, you cannot read that version and have redemption through his blood or forgiveness of your sins thereby. In Hebrews 9:22 it says, ". . . and without shedding of blood is no remission."
If a Bible does not speak of the blood of Jesus, or speak of the virgin birth of Christ, then it is a perversion against God's truth. God's Word says that he was born of a virgin. That means that the Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary and she was with child by the Holy Ghost, of the Holy Ghost, This means that God Almighty sitting on the throne in heaven is Jesus Christ's Father.
If you leave out the virgin birth, or say a young unmarried woman, and leave out the word virgin, then it leaves the door open that Jesus could have been conceived by a human father, making him a son of man rather than the Son of God. The Bible declares that if you do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, then you are not saved. You must believe He is the Son of God and you are saved and washed. Romans Chapter 10 tells us this. Anything that would bring doubt or make a possible option for this, is a perversion and these other Bibles do just that. These aren't Bibles, they are foolishness. They are profanity, and they've changed the truth of God into a lie thereby.
You must turn from this thing. Why, if I would be speaking to you, would you have two or three other people speaking at the same time, trying to say the same thing? That would be impossible in this world. When somebody is reading the King James Version Bible and they are sitting there with a Revised Standard Version (or some other perversion) on their lap, just like the two or three talking, it won't be the same and it won’t read the same. If something doesn't read the same then it's not the same.
It is not easier; it is cursed, and it will not get you to heaven. In fact, it will turn you away from heaven. It will command that your name be taken out of the book of life, which is your salvation experience. This is according to Revelation 22:19. Do you see that? This thing is very simple; this is not a difficult message, though some would say it's a hard message. God wants us to know something. We have been estranged from our first love. We have been turned from the doctrine of Jesus Christ.
Many people today say, Well, I was saved through one of those versions; I was moved by one of those versions. No, you weren't! God is the one who saves and sets free. Only the truth that would come out of the King James Bible can read correctly for a walk in Christ Jesus. Any other thing that says otherwise brings another Jesus. Paul said in Galatians 1:8, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." In Verse 9 he says it again, ". . . let them be accursed."
These other versions of God's Word, these perversions, preach another Jesus. They preach another salvation. They preach another way, to make things easier. Let me tell you something beloved, Satan's way is easier. Hell's way is easier. Matthew 7:13 says, "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:" Jesus added in Verse 14, "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Why? because there are far more versions (perversions) of God's truth than there are versions of the truth. Jesus said in John 14:6, ". . . I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." In Ephesians 4:5 the KJV Bible says there is, "One Lord, one faith, one baptism."
Beloved, there is only one Jesus that can save you, set you free, and make your life clean before God. His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Son of the Most High God. The only way you can get saved is by his shed blood and what he has done on the cruel cross of Calvary, knowing that he has risen from the dead, and that he is sitting at the right hand of God the Father. Today, don't harden your heart against God. Don't turn away from the truth. Don't believe a lie and be damned. God wants you to tear up that thing and burn up that thing you've been reading, and get into the truth.
Many say I can't understand it. When Jesus departed to the Father, he sent another Comforter, whose name is the Holy Ghost, The Spirit of Truth. He will teach us all things that Jesus has said unto us by his word, and he will bring all things back to our remembrance, whatsoever he has said to us. Praise the Lord. Thank God.
This is a spiritual walk, not an intellectual walk. Faith doesn't come out of the mind. Faith doesn't come out of interpretation; faith comes from the heart. An interpretation is spiritual discernment by the Holy Ghost to a man, woman, or young person who is reading God's Word, and having faith in an upright walk with God. Today beloved, harden not your heart.
Father, I ask you to move upon this people today and tell them Lord, and let them know by your Spirit, that what they are reading, if it's not the King James Version Bible, it's a perversion of the truth. God, today, let every soul be saved and set free from this thing. God, let them begin to read, because you said that you are a rewarder of them that diligently seek you. Lord, we praise you. We believe for the victory in the name of Jesus. Amen.
