THE TRUTH

WHAT IS TRUTH?
In Luke 13:23 someone asked Jesus, “Lord, are
there few that be saved?” His answer is recorded in Verse
24: “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say
unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.”
In John 18:38 Pilate asked Jesus, “What is
truth?” John 17:17 says, “. . . thy word is truth.” 1 John
5:6 says, “. . . the Spirit is truth.”
THE TRUTH IS:
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
THE TRUTH IS:
Jesus
came to give life and life more abundantly.
Jesus
came to do away with fear, because fear has torment.
Jesus
is a refuge in times of trouble.
He
gave Himself that I might be free, not to go
freeto continue sin.
He
was wounded for my transgressions.
He
gave His back to the smiters (Psalm 129:3).
THE TRUTH IS:
I’ve failed Him so many times, but He has never failed me.
I’ve broken so many promises I’ve made, but He has never
broken a promise He made to anyone.
I’ve lied, but He cannot tell a lie.
THE TRUTH IS:
Whether a church stands or falls, or the seas roar, or the
mountains crumble into the sea, Jesus is still Lord of Lords
and King of Kings. He is still the Son of God.
