Basic Bible Study Course
INTRODUCTION
to
the Basic Bible Study Course
These
basic Bible lessons were developed to help the new Christian
and for anyone who wants to learn or refresh their knowledge
of the basic principles of the doctrine of Christ. These principles
are found in Hebrews 6:1-2.
"Therefore
leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go
on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance
from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine
of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection
of the dead, and of eternal judgment." Hebrews 6:1-2
We suggest
that you pray before starting your study. Ask the Lord to
open your understanding of His Word. Read all scripture references
given in the lesson.
It is
God's will for us to read and study the Holy Bible. "Study
to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2
Timothy 2:15
We pray
that you will greatly benefit from these lessons. We have
prayed according to Matthew 9:37 which says, "Then saith he
unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the
labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest,
that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."
We encourage
you to use these studies for personal or group study. At LHF,
students submit answers to the questions, we grade them, and
we give certificates for completion of our Bible courses.
You can do the same.
"Blessed
are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness:
for they shall be filled."
