CHURCH #11-2 LESSON

THE END - TIME LINE EXPLAINED

These are the basic scriptures about the end time according to the Bible.  These items are numbered as points, not exact sequence; some things are happening at the same time.

1.  PRESENT AGE - Now

2.  SEVEN YEAR PERIOD - THE 70TH WEEK OF DANIEL (see Daniel 9:27)

This starts with the Antichrist’s 7 year covenant with Israel (Dan. 9:27 & Mat. 24:15)

This is the Beginning of Sorrows (Matthew 24:8 & Mark 13:8)

At the middle of 7 years the Antichrist is revealed (@ 3 ½ years) the Abomination of Desolation happens which starts the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21)

THE 70TH WEEK OF DANIEL- DANIEL 9:24-27

“(24)  Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.  (25)  Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.  (26)  And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.  (27)  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

The 70th week of Daniel is the last seven year period (week of years) in which will be the abomination of desolaton, the great tribulation, the rapture, and the day of the Lord (wrath).  The abomination of desolation will be explained after the beginning of sorrows because “sorrows” starts at the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel and the “abomination of desolation” starts in the middle of the 70th week.

BEGINNING OF SORROWS

          Matthew 24:1-8

Matthew 24:6-8 - “(6) And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  (7) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. (8) All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION

The Antichrist will break his covenant and desecrate the temple by demanding worship of himself in it.  Timing is 3 ½ years into the (7 year) period.  Daniel 9:27 says, “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 says, “(3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”

Daniel 11:31 says, “And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.”

Daniel 12:11 says, “And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.”

2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 says, “(7) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  (8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

Matthew 24:15 - “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)”.

Matthew 24:21 lets us know that is when great tribulation starts.  “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

3.  RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH

CONDITIONS ON EARTH BEFORE RAPTURE

2 Timothy 3:13 - evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse

Luke 17:26-34.  Verse 26 - as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also

2 Thessalonians 2:2-4 - Verse 3, “. . .  that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed. . . .”

Matthew 24:24 - if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Psalm 91:7 - “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.”

Luke 21:28 - “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

The rapture of the church is some time after first 3 ½ years of the 7 year tribulation period.  The Antichrist will be revealed before the rapture.  2 Thessalonians 2:1-12.

CHRIST’S COMING

          * Christ Jesus came to earth to be born, live, die, resurrect, and return to God.

          * Jesus “appears” to us and we are born again, we get saved

             (Read Hebrews 9:26-28.)

          * Jesus will come again and we meet Him in the air - rapture - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

          * Jesus comes again (returns with saints to fight at Armageddon) Jude 1:14-15 & Zechariah 14:1.

The word RAPTURE is not found in the Bible.  It is a modern day term used to describe the catching away of God’s people.  Webster’s dictionary says that rapture is “a carrying away in body or spirit”.

In the rapture Jesus will come to take his saints (dead and alive) to be with him. Study the scriptures for yourself to see when the rapture will take place.  It will have no effect on your eternal salvation which way you believe about the time of the rapture.  Sin, however, will separate you from God.  Without holiness, no one will see the Lord.

Eight including Noah were saved in the great flood because they were righteous.  "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord."  Read Genesis 6:5-8. They escaped.

In Genesis 19:22-24.   The angels told Lot, “(22) Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither.  Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.  (23) The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.  (24) Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;” (Read Luke 17:26-37).            Luke 17:29 says, “But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.”  Verse 30 says, “Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”

Luke 21:36 says, “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

We are commanded to watch and pray for we know not when the Son of man is coming.  Read Matthew 26:41, Mark 13:31-37, Mark 14:38, and Revelation 3:3.

This second coming is also called the first resurrection in Revelation 20:6

           Rapture references:

1 Thessalonians 1:10 - which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Coming of the Son of Man

Matthew 24:27, “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Matthew 24:37, “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Matthew 24:38-39, “(38) For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

(39) And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST

(for Christians only)

Romans 14:10 - “But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.”

Galatians 6:10 - we are of the household of faith. Believers in Christ are called brethren.  There are false brethren - 2 Corinthians 11:26.

2 Corinthians 5:10 - “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”  Jesus intercedes for His saints.  If they repent and continue in Christ they go to heaven

Romans 8:34 - “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Hebrews 7:25 - “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”

Matthew 28:18 -  “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

John 12:46-48 - “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.  He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.”

Jesus came not to judge the world, but to save them.  God will judge those who do not accept the gospel of salvation.

WHEAT & TARES, SHEEP AND GOATS

The Judgment seat if Christ Jesus will operate till all things are subdued.  If people who are as “goats” don’t repent, they are separated permanently from the sheep.

Matthew 13:24-30          - wheat and tares

Matthew 25:1-13- parable of the virgins

Matthew 25:31-46 - sheep and goats

Matthew 7:21 - “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”

Matthew 7:22 - many prophesied, cast out devils and did works in Jesus’ name

Matthew 7:23 - “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Christ’s judgment of Christians is continual.

1 Corinthians 11:32 - “But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.”

God is a separator and a divider.  Examples are:

Luke 12:51 - “Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? . . . Nay; but rather division:”

Exodus 8:23 - I will put a division between my people and thy people

Hebrews 4:12 - “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

“(31) When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: (32) And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: (33) And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.  (34) Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (35) For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: (36) Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.  (37) Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?  (38) When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?  (39) Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?  (40) And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.  (41) Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (42) For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: (43) I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.  (44) Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?  (45) Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.  (46) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”

Matthew 25:31-46.

MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB, and the BRIDE

(for Christians only)

Some think this is right after the rapture.  Some say it concerns new Jerusalem.

Revelation 19:7-9 - marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready

          Revelation Chapter 21

Matthew 22:1-14 - A certain king made a marriage for his son

Luke 14:16-24 - A certain man made a great supper, and bade many

          Luke, Chapter 14

          Matthew, Chapter 25

          Bride: Revelation 21:9 & Revelation 22:17

          Bridegroom:  Matthew 25:1-13, (Matthew 9:14-15, Mark 2:19-20,

                    Luke 5:34-39), John 3:27-31.

WILL SOULS BE SAVED AFTER THE RAPTURE?

Will the Holy Ghost have left the earth?  “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”  2 Thessalonians 2:7.

Look at Revelation 7:9-14.  Revelation 7:13-14 says, “And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?  And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”  These had not taken the mark of the beast and they had robes; they were bought by the blood of Jesus.

GREAT TRIBULATION

It is the 70th week of Daniel and lasts seven years.  The second half of the seven year period is Great Tribulation.  One half of that seven year period is said to be 42 months or 1,260 days (see Rev. 11:2-3). See Daniel 9:24-27.

Matthew 24:21 - “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”  Verse 29 - “Immediately after the tribulation of those days . . . powers of the heavens shall be shaken.”

Revelation 2:22 - I will cast . . . into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

Revelation 7:14 - they which came out of great tribulation and washed their robes

Mark 13:14-24 - spoken of by Daniel the prophet - Verse 19: “For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.” Verse 20 - “And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.”

          Matthew 24:9 & 22, Revelation 12:17 - Israel is persecuted

Revelation 7 - Salvation of multitudes

Revelation 13 - Rise and dominion of Antichrist, the beast

          JUDGMENT OF THE WORLD

WRATH OF GOD AND OF THE LAMB

Matthew 24:50-51 - there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth

Luke 12:46-48 - appoint him his portion with the unbelievers

Revelation 6:15-17 says, “(15)And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; (16) And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: (17) For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Revelation 14:13-20, Verse 19 says, “And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.”

A TIME when God “ariseth to shake terribly the earth”, the day of the LORD of hosts, -

Isaiah 2:1-2, 11-12, 19-22

A TIME of “destruction from the almighty - Isaiah 13:6-7, Joel 1:14-15

A TIME of God’s wrath and anger - Isaiah 13:13 - in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Zephaniah 1:14-16 - The great day of the LORD, day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of waste and desolation

Zephaniah 2:2-3 - fierce anger of the LORD, hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

A TIME when God will punish the world for evil and iniquity.

Isaiah 13:11, Zephaniah 3:8 - pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

A TIME when God’s anger is directed against the nations - Isaiah 34:1-2

A TIME of God’s vengeance - Isaiah 34:8

A TIME of darkness - Joel 2:1-2, Joel 2:30-32, Joel 3:14-15, Isaiah 13:9-10,

Zephaniah 1:14-2:3

A TIME of the Lord’s fire - Possibly Joel 2:3-5, Again, Joel 2:30 & Zep. 3:8.

Zephaniah 1:18 -  the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy

More “day of the Lord” scriptures: 1 Corinthians 1:8, 1 Corinthians 5:5,

2 Corinthians 1:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:2, Romans 2:16 - day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, Philippians 1:6 & 10, Philippians 2:16 - the day of Christ,

2 Thessalonians 2:1-2 - the day of Christ is at hand.

Some say that Revelation’s seals 1-5 are the result of the Antichrist and war, and that is not the wrath of God that is poured out later.

Rev. 15:1 - And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

Revelation 19:15 - “And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.” Immediately after this scripture it talks about the beast and others gathered against the Word of God.  That will be Armageddon. Read also Rev. 19:20 and Rev. 20:1-3.

There are three series of judgments: (seals-Rev. 6; trumpets - Rev. 8-9; vials - Rev. 16).  Rev. 16:16 - “And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.”  These overlap and happen before the millennial reign, thus before the end of the great tribulation.

The tribulation ends in the gathering of the nations to the battle of Armageddon and the return of Christ to the earth.  (See Revelation, Chapter 19.)

4.  THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST (Christ & Saints Return)

          & THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON

Jesus returns with the saints at the end of the 3 ½ years great tribulation period.  Jesus plants His feet on Mt. Olives and is revealed to all.  The Battle of Armageddon takes place.

Revelation 16:16 says, “And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.”

The first time He came to the earth, He came as a baby.  He lived, He died, He resurrected, and is now sitting at the right hand of the throne of God. He comes for His Saints at the rapture (already discussed) when we meet Him in the air (1 Thesssalonians 4:17), and He does not touch the earth.  He does not appear to the world at that time, because He comes as a thief in the night to them.  (1 Thessalonians 5:2-5).

Christ is revealed at his second coming.  Matthew 24:27 says, “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of

man be.”

Jude 1:14-15 - the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints

Revelation 14:14-20-sharp sickle, gather the vine of the earth

          Revelation 16:16-21 - Armageddon

          Revelation, Chapter 19

Zechariah 14:1-4 - his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives.  Verse 5 - “. . . and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.”  Verse 9 says, “. . . the LORD shall be king over all the earth. . . .”

Satan is bound for 1000 years.  The Beast and False Prophet are cast into the Lake of Fire.

5.  THE MILLENNIUM

The millennium is the 1000 year reign of Christ on Earth.  Christ was revealed to all at his second coming.  Christ Jesus and His saints defeat the enemy at the battle of Armageddon.  Then starts the literal one thousand year reign of Christ Jesus on this earth (the Millennium).  This comes after the rapture, the judgment seat of Christ, the great tribulation, the revelation of Christ and the battle of Armageddon.  There will be a literal restoration of the nation of Israel.  Most evangelical churches accept this view.

Matthew 6:10 - “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

Matthew 19:28 - “. . . in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory. . . .”

Isaiah 2:4 - “And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.” This is during the millenial reign.

(1000 YEARS)

Psalm 90:4 - “For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.”

2 Peter 3:8 - “. . . one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Revelation 20:1-7, “(1) And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.  (2) And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, (3) And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.  (4) And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.  (5) But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.  (6)  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.  (7) And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,”

GOG AND MAGOG

Satan is bound for the millennium.  At the end of the 1000 years, Satan is loosed for a short season.  He deceives the nations and gathers them in a final revolt against Jesus Christ resulting in the war/battle of Gog and Magog.  (Revelation 20:1-10)

Revelation 20:6-10, “(6) Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (7) And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, (8) And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

(9) And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

(10) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

6.  GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT (of wicked dead and living)

LAKE OF FIRE AND THE SECOND DEATH

THE BEAST AND THE FALSE PROPHET ARE IN THE LAKE OF FIRE

Revelation 2:11 - “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.”

Isaiah 26:19-21 - “(19) Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.  (20)  Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.  (21) For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.”

Romans 2:4-6, day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God

Revelation 19:20 - “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 20:6 - “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”

          Revelation 20:11-15:

“(10) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”  (11) And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.  (12) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  (13) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.  (14) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

(15) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Revelation 21:8 - “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

7.       NEW HEAVENS, NEW EARTH, & NEW JERUSALEM

This is after the 1000 years and the white throne judgment.  The first heaven and earth pass away.  New Jerusalem comes down as a BRIDE adorned for her husband.

2 Peter 3:10-13 - heavens pass away and earth is burned up, new heavens and a new earth

Revelation 3:12 - “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.”

          Revelation Chapter 20-21

Hebrews 1:10-12, (10) “And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: (11) They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; (12) And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.”

Revelation 21:1-2 - New Jerusalem - (1) “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.  (2)  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

THE END

END OF TIME:  Revelation 10:6 - “And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:”

Revelation 10:7 - “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

Matthew 24:14 -   this gospel preached in all the world - then shall the end come

Psalm 102:25-27 - (25) Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.  (26) They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: (27) But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

Hebrews 1:10-12 - (10) And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: (11) They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;  (12) And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

WHEN IS THE FINAL END?

(23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.  (24) Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.  (25) For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.  (26) The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.  (27) For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.  (28) And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

1 Corinthians 15:23-28.
