Preface

(God’s Word / power in truth)

In Isaiah 55:11God said, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

If you will trust and understand that the Word has all power, and all faith, you can have faith just like Jesus! With the heart man believes, and when you yield to God with your heart, it is an act of faith!  He will cast the devils out of you.  He will set you free!  He will heal your body, put food on your table, and money in your pocket.  He will put gas in your tank and a roof over your head.

He will take you to Glory when He is ready, but you can shout the victory over all the power of the devil NOW!  This is what God can do!  Believe the true Word of God!

TRUE WORD

by Pastor Kevin Badgley

We believe God will break every fetter and chain of unbelief that has wrapped around you like a snake!   He will break that yoke if you will come clean before God!  Praise Him for it.

In Isaiah 55:11God said, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”  This is a decree made by the power of God’s Spirit!

God said it!   Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

The word void means “empty”.  The word accomplish means “to execute fully”.  If you obey God’s Word, and do His work, and His will, God’s will shall be performed in your life!  It doesn’t matter what is happening in your family or people around you, God will work.

The words that go forth out of His mouth shall be accomplished.  You can’t have any cursing, or swearing, or covetousness, or lust, or lack of service.  When you press in and live according to God’s Word, it shall be performed!  It doesn’t matter how many devils come against you, or if Lucifer himself stands at your right hand to resist you.  God can’t lie!

Many have prayed for deliverance and healing, yet have not received it.  God said to press in, and shut up yourself to the Word, and the Word will not go void!  It shall deliver you!  It shall heal you!

Psalm 107:20 says, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”

If you will trust and understand that the Word has all power, and all faith, you can have faith just like Jesus! The Lord dealt with me that right before every major move of God, He gets His people down to where there is absolutely nothing left but faith!  He said, Before I make a major move and send revival to an individual, or to a church, or to an area, I completely annihilate every prop they ever had!  I take away everything they ever leaned on.  I take away everything they ever put their trust or hope in.  I destroy everything that could be a hindrance later on.  My glory I share with no man.

James 5:17 tells us that Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are.  He was no different than you or me, and he walked with God.  He translated on a regular basis.  The Word of the Lord was continually dealing with him about a whole nation.  He knew God, and God knew him.  Yet, even after he was used mightily of God he became discouraged, because the people would not move to God.  He became so depressed that he hid in a cave and thought it was better to be dead!  He wasn’t tempted by a suicide devil; he just wanted God to take him home!  In the midst of his discouragement, God revealed to Elijah that he had a remnant in Israel.

Romans 11:4 says, “But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.”  Do you know what reserved means?  It means “set apart”.  Do you know what sanctified means?  It means “set apart”.

God always has some sanctified people.  He is going to bring whores, publicans, and fools to Christ Jesus. He is going to turn them into sons of God, and they will preach in this last move of God!

I know what God has told me.  He said that I was in God’s will, and I believe Him.  Then He said to me, I am going to send revival.  That is it.  That settles it!  It doesn’t matter what it looks like until revival.  Jesus said in Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”  You can’t play games with God!  He knows your heart through and through.

Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

God’s Word will do one of two things.  It will cut you off, or it will set your feet on higher ground!  You aren’t going to stay lukewarm by playing around.  You are going to get hot for God, or you are going to get hot in hell!

If you will believe God’s Word, then nothing Satan can send you will disrupt your work for the Lord!  Whether you count it for anything or not, and whether you remember it or not, if God said it, He shall bring it to pass!

God dealt with me and said, You have got to believe me, because I’m going to remove every single thing that you can believe me with, other than faith in God!  That is all Moses had left working on the back side of a desert until he was 80 years old!  Faith was all Joseph had when he was in a prison for two years in a dungeon that he did not deserve.

It is faith in God that gets you to heaven!  God’s Word is true, and while you are waiting on God He shall renew your strength!  Faith pleases God, and without it you can’t please Him!  How can you have a full, perfect faith, and still have props to help hold you up?

1 John 4:18 says, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”  You lose if you are fearful and can’t believe God when things get tough!  That is when faith is supposed to kick in!  You need faith when it is tough, everything is dry, and everything feels lousy!

Faith is needed to carry you through when you can’t carry yourself and when you can’t get delivered or healed.  Faith is needed when you can’t feel God anymore.  You have to hold on to the faith!  Paul told Timothy to fight the good fight of faith.  You have to fight to hold on to your faith, or you will lose it.

Are you wrestling the devil?  The devil comes against individuals, churches, and areas.  He’s been fighting, and warring, and chewing his nails, and flapping his jaws at everybody!  He brings some of the nastiest thoughts from hell against God’s people until some may think they are losing their minds!  However, 2 Timothy 1:7 says God has given us a sound mind.  What did you do when he came against you?  Did you get on your knees and seek God?  Did you overcome him by the blood of Jesus Christ?

You ask, God, where are you?  He is standing right there in your faith, waiting on you to take a step of faith.  Then watch God confirm His Word and bring revival!   If you don’t have the Holy Ghost, seek it according to Acts, Chapter 2 and Acts 1:8.  Then we need the gift of faith, and we should receive all the gifts of the Spirit (see 1 Corinthians 12:31).

When you pray for the gifts of the spirit the devil will come against you with unbelief and great warfare.  Some people think it is unbelievable and unbearable.  They have never had an attack like it in their life!  It is because they have asked for something the devil can’t have, and he tries to keep you from getting it!

God is going to deliver you, so just start praising Him and believe God anyhow!  You can get so caught up in faith that you forget your problems altogether.  You will look around, and they aren’t there anymore!

You can pray for people, and they will disappoint you.  The devil points out to me people that he has control over and says, Let them go.  Just let them sweat.  Just go on and do your own thing.  I tell him, Devil, I am doing my thing, and that is casting you out!

Believe God when there is nothing else to do but believe God!  That is living in faith.  Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

The Bible says that the just shall live by faith!  (See Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, and Hebrews 10:38.)  We have to believe the Word and live in the Word.  It doesn’t matter if your house burns down, you’ve still got to believe the Word!  You don’t believe the Word in accordance to how your life is going!  You believe God’s Word according to what His Word says!  If you line up with it, you will see what God can do.

God wants His people to wake up and realize what a walk of faith really is!  Joshua commanded the sun and the moon to stand still.  God looked down on a little bitty man and a struggling few.  They were fighting a superior war-like people, and they were outnumbered, but God heard him make that command.  Wow, the audacity of Joshua!  A mere mortal, flesh and blood man made that command, and it obeyed him!

That was a long day.  The enemy was probably waiting for night to come so they could finish them up, but night was delayed!

Other than the thief on the cross, I believe Noah had some of the greatest faith of any person in the Bible.  He worked approximately 100 years on building the ark!  I wonder if people asked Noah, Well, you know it has been 100 years now.  Couldn’t you have made it a little smaller?  Couldn’t you have believed for just a little less?

The Word of the Lord came to prophets in the Bible, and sometimes it was years before they heard from God again!  They had no Bible to read, but they believed what He told them!  We have much more!  We have 66 books of God’s Word!  It is anointed, powerful, and awesome!  We have Jesus and the Holy Ghost! Some-times nothing satisfies but a touch from heaven, the power of God, and a word from the Master!

Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”  You can hear from God every day!  You can get so much into Jesus that you become a house of prayer!   You will become like Christ and walk in faith!

Matthew 5:8 says, “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.  You can see God now!  Hebrews 11:1 talks about “Now faith”.  If you have faith now, then now faith kicks in.  When the Lord deals with you, you may say, Not now, Lord, but maybe a little later.  So, the next time you pray, the Lord will say, Not now, a little later.  You say, But, God, I’m dying here!  I have a tumor between my eyeballs!  You have to get things right with God!

The Bible says that the just shall live by faith.  You can live for a while without food and water, but if you don’t have any faith, you are a dead man.  Many people boast in their lack of faith by saying that they don’t need God.  The Bible says in Psalm 14:1 and in Psalm 53:1, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. . . .”

They are trying to get away from the things of God, because if they confess that there is a God, they have to confess that they should follow Him!  Romans 10:9-10 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

You can know to do right and not be able to do it.  The best laid plans known to man sometimes have fallen unto wretchedness.  Our righteousness is as filthy rags in His sight.  With the heart man believes, and when you yield to God with your heart, it is an act of faith!  God will touch that.

What if you never saw another miracle?  Seeing miracles doesn’t bring faith.  Preaching of the Word brings faith!  Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

God has chosen foolish things to confound the wise, and the foolishness of preaching brings faith.  1 Corinthians 1:18 says, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”

The very same day Jesus was crucified, a man was right beside him also hanging on a cross.  Luke 23:42 says, “And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.”  Faith was all he had!

To live by faith with a crucified, sanctified life is just crazy to the world.  Many of you have seen Jesus and the Bible attacked and ridiculed, but the thief on the cross saw Jesus crucified, and he still believed God!  With an act of faith comes the resurrection power of God!

If you don’t take a stand for God, just sit tight, you will go to hell!  The devil counsels people on a regular basis, Not today!  Tomorrow will be more favorable!

God is dealing with people to press into faith.  It is a hard walk, a reproached walk, and it makes you uncomfortable.  There are times you have to stay awake and seek God, because the devil just walked in your house and won’t leave!  However, the rewards of obedience to God are glorious!

The just shall live by faith.  If you will believe God, deliverance is coming.  It is an actual fact that takes place in the Spirit, and God gives it out in due season when He sees fit.  You can walk in faith until you see the victory!
